The Bends by Radiohead
Sep 02 2026

I'd forgotten how many bangers are actually on this. Radiohead's taking their corner and making a great case for it. Favorite Track: Fake Plastic Trees Surprise: My Iron Lung Most likely to end up on a mix tape: Bullet Proof

Ramones by Ramones
Sep 03 2026

First time actually hearing this a collection of songs. Just pure energy. Favorite: Blitzkrieg Bop - always been one i've enjoyed. First time: Now I wanna sniff some glue Unexpected Horror Movie: I Don't Wanna Go Down to the Basement

The Yes Album by Yes
Sep 04 2026

Well well the album where I seen all good people come from. About what I expected - Prog Rock all day - 6 tracks and 40 minutes. It was fine... Favorite Track: Starship Trooper (obv) Track that would annoy Casey the most: Perpetual Change ("Dad will it ever end????")

Interesting...but not really for me - at least listening. At a punk club or live I know I'd dig it.

To be honest I was pleasantly surprised. Listenable (for the most part - it dragged down near the end) and catchy.

Fly Or Die by N.E.R.D

Eh...kind of a had to be there thing I think. It was awesome in the day tho.

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra

Big band jazz - all good, I liked the Ella album more

Our Aim Is To Satisfy by Red Snapper
Oct 07 2026

Early 2000s techno, not really a standout I prefer Moby a bit more.

Oct 08 2026

Awesome - almost every song is a banger. Weird fact - I was humming Kids about 3 minutes before I loaded the 1000 albums page. Am I merging with the 1000 albums intelligence?

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Oct 13 2026

Great album by a great still underrated songwriter. It feels quite Beatleesque, which is apropos since this guy became drinking buddies with Lennon. Biggest surprise: Coconut - it still holds up and it really shouldn't.

Transformer by Lou Reed
Oct 14 2026

Perfect Day and Walk on the Wild Side - just two complete bangers. For the rest - maybe you had to be there...
