Popular Reviews

Raw Power by The Stooges

Iggy Pop is a little hottie. If you told me they're a Kinks revival band I wouldn't be surprised. Very punk British invasion, pretty good.

Who's that laaaaady? Never knew this was them, but I like the first song so starting out strong. Good vibes, I listened all the way through without pausing or noticing it was almost over. Idk if that's good or bad, but I did like it. 8/10

Parklife by Blur
Oct 05 2026

Very very very good, this is the kind of album I love. Kinda like The Smiths and David Bowie with a little modern hyperpop feel, idk. I really liked it so much 5//5 would listen again

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Oct 06 2026

Really compelling, very beautiful lyrics and calming music. All around lovely listen.

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
Oct 07 2026

Every song went on a bit too long, but that's probably more a product of the 80s than Cyndi. My first thought was "hootin and hollerin," which might also be bc of the 80s, tho I'm less inclined to lean against that assumption. Iconic but not my favorite.

Gorillaz by Gorillaz

I feel like this is an album I'd really like after a second or third listen.

Oct 09 2026

If this is what they mean by "soul music" then I think that's a perfect name. Very beautiful album, from the sounds to the lyrics to the voice.

Felt like sitting by the creek after dark and telling folk tales, very comforting.

Astral Weeks by Van Morrison
Oct 12 2026

I liked this album so much I went on to listen to some of his other albums after. Really, really good stuff

Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
Oct 13 2026

I love this album. It makes me feel a lot of emotions in a very short period, but mostly it makes me feel nostalgic.

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Oct 15 2026

This is like a mix between Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. Super dad rock vibe

Oct 16 2026

This album is for a very specific vibe, and that vibe is absolutely not before 9am

I Against I by Bad Brains

After spending nearly two days in the car I didn't think I would like this as much as I did, but it was actually pretty cool
