Perfect all the way through…. Moz and Marr are amazing. Marr’s guitar work is amazingly original and defines his style on this album.

Moody Quirky experimental …. Glory Box is the only real “hit” on here. Sounds dated versus timeless…. Contrived… unlike fine wine more like milk—hasn’t aged well.

The best Radiohead album hands down…. Classic.

Classic—-like Sunshine in a bottle. Their sound is so original and mixed and produced extremely well. Jeff Lynne’s voice is the stamp; defines them. Genius writing, catchy and fun.

Good overall. Psycho Killer is the best song . High energy and intense album.

sounds like Manchester meets the Beatles… the vocals have and exaggerated accent: seemingly a choice …. guitar pop. more raw here and there….

craptastic…!! it was radio crap back then as it is now… nothing redeeming.

this one was aa wild ride— like a hipster singer on Saddle Creek records went back in time to 1971…. weird alternative experimental pop before it was even a genre—sure i hear Brian Eno and folksy hints in there but it feels low fi and recorded on a small 4 track recorder to a cassette tape… mixing was odd as the reverb and ambient noise on some tracks

reminds me of my son; love him so much and this is one of his favorite bands… i cNt help it that i am biased…. however this is classic Pink Floyd and is a great record…. next to Dark Side of the Moon it is one of their best.

light alternative sorta rocks lots of mid tempo… fun and guirky lyrics: they domt take themselves too seriously…

fun … totally 90s alt rock….

classic jazzy rock… sophisticated, darkly sarcastic lyrics, fun, incredible virtuously musicianship …. this sounds so East Coast… later by about 30 years it would be picked up and dubbed, “Yacht Rock” much fo Fagan’s adamant dismay and would be the archetype of which to measure other bands worthy of this newly minted genre.

one song, Sabotage. that is the best… the video on MTV is still a classic. i dont like rap…. rap is crap.

meh… 90s alt slip… entirely forgettable…. boring actually and not representative of good 90s alt rock more like an example of bands labels scrambled to sign to cash in on the newly minted (pun intended) genre by the music industry….

birth of Heavy Metal…. !!!!

despite being preachy and whiney and thoroughly annoying in his lyrics and album title—the music is artistically artful well flushed out on this record. Morrissey’s crooning style of singing juxtaposed to Marr’s frenetic and melodic jangling guitar work is classic Smiths. The vocal melodies are so perfectly harmonious to the chord structures that you can forgive and give some leeway to vocal tracks that land a bit sharp…. Classic album overall.
