It was ok. Mostly just enjoyed the three songs I knew: America, Mrs. Robinson and A Hazy Shade of Winter. But I quite liked Punky's Dilemma, which I had not heard before, I love the lyrics and the guitar playing.
Solid album. I have never listened to the Kinks before. Reminds me of the Beatles a lot. Nothing skippable but also nothing is a standout. Worthy of further listens and adding to library.
OH what an album. It is a vast monster. My first exposure to this album and Pink Floyd was from my high school English teacher. It is a masterpiece. It's also very long and so not a one sit listen.
