Popular Reviews

Paranoid by Black Sabbath

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is one of the greatest album ever recorded.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake

The most beautiful 28 minutes ever recorded.

I Should Coco by Supergrass

I wont jump on the bandwagon and bash Oasis here, but Supergrass were criminally underrated and deserved just as much hype as the top 4 britpop bands. This is a gem.

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails

Devastating and depressing in the best possible way.

Pink Flag by Wire
Sep 21 2020

Yep! Just wish it went on a bit longer. But its post punk at its best.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Oct 16 2020

Would she go down on you in a theater?

Foxbase Alpha by Saint Etienne
Nov 05 2020

Sarah Cracknell, Pete Wiggs and Bob Stanley. What a legendary trio and everything they've ever touched is brilliant. This might be my favourite Saint Etienne album. Think it's been 4 years now since i saw them in Leamington doing their Foxbase Alpha tour. What a brilliant concert. Played this album from start to finish. It has the perfect balance of different genres. There's a bit of trip hop, dub, "britpop" (before it existed as a term) and electronic/dance/house. Also, it's got the best cover ever; Only love can break your heart. Fun fact: the girl featured on the album cover (not a part of the band) can also be seen in Pulps video for their song Babies. Oh, and if you haven't already, check out at least these albums by this very same band: So Tough, Sound Of Water, Tiger Bay and Good Humor.

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman

Listen to those lyrics.

Abbey Road by Beatles
Nov 24 2020

Hot take: this is a tad bit overrated. Much prefer Revolver, Sgt Peppers and Rubber Soul.

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Dec 07 2020

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Jan 05 2021

The most beautiful 28 minutes ever recorded.

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Jan 28 2021

Can't go wrong with Fats. It's funny how its close to impossible to navigate through his album during the 50/60's. All named similar and with his wonderful face on the album covers.

Alien Lanes by Guided By Voices
Feb 03 2021

Hell yeah! What, last song already?!

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Mar 17 2021

I wont jump on the bandwagon and bash Oasis here, but Supergrass were criminally underrated and deserved just as much hype as the top 4 britpop bands. This is a gem.

Closer by Joy Division

Parachutes by Coldplay
Jun 16 2021

They're shit these days. Were they shit at this time of period as well? Is this rating based on nostalgia only? Perhaps. But i quite like it.

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Jun 29 2021

Seriously, what a joyful ride this was. Loved everything about it. Could hardly not dance to it.

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jul 01 2021

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is one of the greatest album ever recorded.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Jul 05 2021

All time classic.

Out of Step by Minor Threat
Jul 09 2021

intense and straight forward straight edge hardcore with all the elements for hardcore punk fans.

Oxygène by Jean-Michel Jarre
Jul 09 2022

Groundbreaking concept album that blends glam rock with a futuristic narrative. The album's mix of theatricality and musical innovation cements its place as a timeless classic in rock history. However, it's not my favourite Bowie album. That's probably Low or Station to Station. Still, a high 4.

Eagles by Eagles
Mar 15 2024

generic, innit

A Wizard, A True Star by Todd Rundgren
Mar 18 2024

This is a bold and eclectic masterpiece that pushes the boundaries of rock and pop. S psychedelic journey, weaving together diverse musical styles and surreal soundscapes, showcasing Rundgren's experimental genius. It's just so unpredictable that i have to give it full marks.
