Joan ArmatradingWow, I can’t believe I’ve never heard of her. Such an amazing voice and love the borderline country/funk sound. Love and Affection made its way to my hits playlist.

This was a real gem, never heard of this cat before and had no idea how big he was. Some really interesting beats and sounds.
Steady from beginning to end, definitely loved the back half of the album with Mystery man and Luna being favorites.
Absolute perfection, could listen to this album over and over.
Super chill. Definitely not something I could listen to all the time, but the hits from it are the way to go. Wagon Wheel was a surprise banger that I didn’t see coming.
Steady from beginning to end, definitely loved the back half of the album with Mystery man and Luna being favorites.
Definitely kept me entertained, I liked the first half of the album better than the back half. It felt like a Broadway play how it flowed through the entire album.
So so so good, absolutely loved this album. Gave me some jazz vibes but also had some Hawaiian influence too which I was into.
Took me back, still love this album and gave me some nostalgia.
Very different, not one of my favorite albums but I could totally see how they formed a style for other bands. Heard it through the grapevine was a great cover.
A fun album, super funky, and I liked the whole album not just the hits.
I understand it’s relevance in music and can appreciate that, but this is definitely not an easy listen for me.
I don’t know if it was due to the inauguration and us having a new president, but this album made me feel great, like the sun was shining a little brighter.
This album feels like it influenced a lot of the 90’s and it’s amazing how it is still super relevant now. Couldn’t believe that it came out in 88.
What a great album, had such a nice vibe being love and loved his stories and crowd play. Worry worry is such a great song.
I may be a little biased here, but an ex of mine loved incubus and needless to say... I’m not a big fan. That being said listening to the album feels like an incubus album and most of the songs felt very similar.
Took me right back to my ska days in high school. Would have preferred their first self titled album from ‘79 more, but this one had a lot of the same feel.
Such a good vibe throughout, nice and punky but with some good backup vocals.
Wow, I can’t believe I’ve never heard of her. Such an amazing voice and love the borderline country/funk sound. Love and Affection made its way to my hits playlist.
Not a huge fan. I get it and I understand why it was influential to some genres that followed but overall I couldn’t get through the entire album.
Such a pump up album, gets you in the mood to go out and have a beer.
Great album, would definitely listen again. I kept listening to more of their music after the album and I think I like more of their later music better, but overall feels like they were very influential.
Wow couldn’t believe how much I liked this album. Beats were great and I could hear where a lot of artists sampled their work from.
Solid album, i liked the more upbeat songs the best, cover of the tracks of my tears was amazing.
Tito Puente for the win! Such a good vibe
I think I like the idea of Bowie way more than his music.
Great album, only ever listened to greatest hits from them but thoroughly pleased with the deep cuts too.
Quick with good vibes. Some absolute bangers like Ex Lion Tamer. Definitely added to my personal playlists.
I completely understand where bohemian rhapsody came from now and definitely more into queen than before. It was interesting to hear how many different genres they dove into.
Mad I never listened them before, great album.
Album kicked ass, kept the energy high. Every song sounded like a hit to me.
Great African jazz, lots of different styles though with some very hectic moments too.
Smooth easy listening, straight out of the 60’s. You can definitely hear how they inspired a ton of other bands in that era.
Great album, and was super smooth from beginning to end.
This album took me back, was on repeat for me back in 07’ and I still loved all the songs. The beats are what make this album for me.
Straight fire. I see where a Nas has influenced a ton of rappers. Beats were great.
Def not my cup of tea, although I see where they influenced a lot of hardcore music I used to listen to back in the day.
Was not a fan. I liked the guitar and the drums, but I could not get over the water vocal effect.
Very surprised by this one. It made me understand Hallelujah a lot more. So many different genres from grunge to operatic at times.
Sounded like the mamas and the papas and a lot of the bands in this era. I didn’t see a lot of standout tracks.
This was a real gem, never heard of this cat before and had no idea how big he was. Some really interesting beats and sounds.
Great album. Wish I would have found them earlier, this album pumped me the hell up.
Absolute perfection, could listen to this album over and over.
I feel like having this album live wasn’t as good. The audio quality wasn’t that good and you couldn’t hear the singing as times.
What a fun album, totally a mix of The Beach Boys, Beatles, and the clash.
I liked this Springsteen album way more than the previous. This one was way more entertaining.
Not really my type of music, but I liked the gritty ness and the guitar.
I’m not a huge reggae fan but this one was fairly good.
Can’t believe this came out in 1957. It feels relevant but still has that classic twang that he is known for. Great album and an easy listen
Great album, loved this equally as much as their other album. Such a unique sound and tons of amazing instrumentals.
Not a big fan.
And I thought that wonderwall was going to be the best song on their album, boy was I wrong. Great album, super solid all the way through.
This was interesting, there were some parts that I could get into but overall I wasn’t a huge fan.
Great album, all the hits, and found some samples to other songs I didn’t know were a thing.
Original emo right here.
Surprisingly way better than I thought. I don’t think I ever listened to a single Radiohead song, so I’m glad this was on the list!
Now that’s what I call Country, Vol 1. This is a really good album, I’m not much of a country guy, but this had some really good hits that get stuck in your head. Wham Bam, favorite
Loved hearing timbalands beats from back in the day, there were some bangers but overall not a huge fan.
Seemed a little repetitive, but the guitar chords got me hyped. I can see where they influenced a ton of hard rock bands I used to listen to back in the day.
Such great singers and guitar players. Absolute classic. Some of the guitar solos went on for a little too long IMHO, like the last song is 14 min long, that’s a bit.
Can’t believe I never heard of her, had a Joni Mitchell vibe mixed with Sheena Easton, I really liked it.
Very lively, these are the deeps cuts that I was looking for. Not my favorite jazz/samba album that we’ve had so far but nonetheless it’s solid.
I’m not a huge fan of Dylan’s voice, but I found that the entire album is super cohesive and I think I appreciate him a lot more than I previously did.
Some pretty cool beats, definitely would have listened to them back in middle school real hard, but a tad bit repetitive for me.
Can definitely see where artists like Taylor Swift and Haim get a lot of inspiration from. I thought the second half of the album was way better than the first.
I was expecting more from this album. It was a lot slower and more subtle than what I’ve heard from them, maybe I’m more of a Fleetwood Mac greatest hits kinda guy.
