Popular Reviews

Revolver by Beatles

Honestly has to be a 10. This album revolutionized the studio as we know it. The Beatles experimented so hard with recording styles and it changed everything.

...And Justice For All by Metallica

Never been a huge fan of Hetfield’s voice, but I do understand that lyrically and sonically Metallica is one of if not the best metal bands out there. “One” is probably my favorite track. Shocker. I also like the opening track “Blackened”. I probably just need to listen to more Metallica to get used to Hetfields voice.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden

Very raw Iron Maiden. Some songs really stood out but yeah solid 3.5

Ogden's Nut Gone Flake by Small Faces
Jan 22 2021

Basically a cheap Beatles album to me. The noises were weird but the instrument parts were good.

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Jan 26 2021

Solid album. Very chill much wow

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Jan 27 2021

Got that glitch hop origins vibe. Reminds me of the matrix for some reason. Like OG matrix guarantee would use Massive Attack for their soundtrack.

For Your Pleasure by Roxy Music
Jan 28 2021

Interesting. If I had to say something I’d say it was right for its era and probably influenced a bunch of artists (maybe Queen and Bowie?)

Sister by Sonic Youth
Jan 29 2021

Old school grunge. Not bad

Ritual De Lo Habitual by Jane's Addiction
Feb 01 2021

Pretty interesting grunge rock. Stop is the only song I knew, but I didn’t expect ballads later. Instrumentation was phenomenal, but catchiness could be better. 7.5/10

White Light by Gene Clark
Feb 03 2021

Decent folk album. Definitely an oldie so I don’t really sway towards it but it was good background music. Lean on me is the track that stands out.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Feb 05 2021

very raw album. Bluesy and has some of my favorite doors songs.

Debut by Björk
Feb 08 2021

Nice album. First album I listened to by Björk. Much less electronic than her newest stuff. Feels more woodsy. Björk has a voice that is hard to get used to because it can sound very strainy or like her English is not natural. Almost alien like but once u understand that it’s fire

Bandwagonesque by Teenage Fanclub
Feb 09 2021

Reminds me of Weezer, but like a very good version with really talented musicians.

The Yes Album by Yes
Feb 10 2021

Very prog much wow. Great instrumentation.

Rio by Duran Duran
Feb 11 2021

AND IM HUNGRY LIKE THE WOOOLLFFF

Viva Hate by Morrissey
Feb 12 2021

Makes me think of the 80s. Like Morrissey has the 80s voice.

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Feb 17 2021

Fun and interesting story. Very grunge punk

Feb 18 2021

Courtney love is a g. She crazy af but that’s a good music

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Feb 22 2021

Cant go wrong with Creedence. Pretty solid album and very listenable.

Revolver by Beatles
Feb 23 2021

Honestly has to be a 10. This album revolutionized the studio as we know it. The Beatles experimented so hard with recording styles and it changed everything.

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Feb 24 2021

Solid album. Probably Aerosmith at its best based on what I’ve heard lmao I’ve heard nothing this is straight out of my butt.

Dry by PJ Harvey
Feb 25 2021

Decent album. I enjoy PJ Harvey style as it kind of reminds me of a mix between Radiohead and Nirvana

Hypnotised by The Undertones
Feb 26 2021

Not bad but I’m not a huge fan of the lead singer. Just preference.

The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett
Mar 05 2021

Similar to the Beatles Sgt. pepper days, maybe more folk? Very raw

Marcus Garvey by Burning Spear
Mar 08 2021

Good reggae music. What more is there to say

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Mar 09 2021

Very raw Iron Maiden. Some songs really stood out but yeah solid 3.5

Lady In Satin by Billie Holiday
Mar 10 2021

Iconic woman in a terrible time. Voice is a little harsh but very easy to listen to this album. 3.5/5

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Mar 11 2021

I’m not a huge 80s music guy. It just sounds too old. This reminds me of the Smiths and The cure

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
Mar 12 2021

Pretty decent. Reminds me of like 50s rock with a decent amount of distortion in some songs.

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Mar 15 2021

Decent album. Too old for my taste but has its gems.

The Blueprint by JAY Z
Mar 16 2021

Respect HOV. I guess it was okay not my favorite album kinda outdated hip hop if I’m being honest

Faust IV by Faust
Mar 17 2021

Not my thing too experimental.

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Mar 18 2021

Think of Johnny cash but down one octave. A little slow for me, but good album.

Brothers by The Black Keys
Mar 22 2021

Love this album.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Apr 01 2021

Solid album I enjoyed more than I expected
