Pink Moon by Nick Drake

Amazing, beautiful voice, great guitar. Feels small, intimate, open. Also dark, sad and melancholy.

I hardly ever listen to rap or hip hop, but I was pleasantly surprised by this album. It was easy to listen to and had a nice flow. The lyrics are interesting, because he sounds very honest and open about his struggles. Lots of clever lines as well.

Thoughtful, slow, bit gloomy, beautiful lyrics

Jan 15 2021

Not my style or voice, sounds hectic

Quite easy to listen to. Music is great, not the biggest fan of Jagger's voice. I enjoy the country vibes.

Very, very nice. Interesting mix between cheerful and thoughtful songs. Good lyrics.

Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone

Like the music and some of the lyrics, but it's not my style. Some songs feel very similar.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake

Amazing, beautiful voice, great guitar. Feels small, intimate, open. Also dark, sad and melancholy.

Songs The Lord Taught Us by The Cramps
Jan 20 2021

Fun, crazy, naughty. Not my personal preference, but cool to listen to. Nice version of fever.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Jan 21 2021

I mean, Sympathy for the devil is great. Most songs on this album are actually great. Enjoyable to listen to the whole album.

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5

Upbeat, love the beats, good lyrics.

Central Reservation by Beth Orton
Jan 25 2021

I like the general feel of the music, but I get distracted by some of the things she does with her voice. Dragged on a bit for me.

Amazing album.

Leftism by Leftfield
Jan 28 2021

Different but chill

Rattus Norvegicus by The Stranglers

Lyrics a bit violent, which was distracting

Surprising, some great songs I hadn't heard, some classics, some a bit less.

High energy, some beats I really enjoyed, sometimes a bit too much, especially the voice.

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Apr 17 2022

The voices and guitar and drum beats just really please me! Doesn't contain any of my favourites of CCR but still very enjoyable.

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Apr 18 2022

What a glorious start to the first track! Lovely beats. Relaxing and nice flow.

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Apr 19 2022

Good stuff! I particularly enjoy their slower stuff, like Scar Tissue, Otherside, Savior and Road Trippin'.

Apr 20 2022

I hardly ever listen to rap or hip hop, but I was pleasantly surprised by this album. It was easy to listen to and had a nice flow. The lyrics are interesting, because he sounds very honest and open about his struggles. Lots of clever lines as well.

Kenya by Machito
Apr 21 2022

What a bucket of fun, this album! Right from Wild Jungle, I had to move along to these smooth sounds.

Darkdancer by Les Rythmes Digitales
Apr 22 2022

It's... meh? Didn't mind the start of it, but from Disco to Disco onwards, it was hard to enjoy.

Lady In Satin by Billie Holiday
Apr 23 2022

It's okay, but not really my preferred style. Everything sounded quite alike. Nice to listen to though.

Kala by M.I.A.
Apr 24 2022

Unique sounds, with what seemed like Bollywood and African influences. It did get a bit tiring. Don't think I would put it on again, but was an interesting listen.

Bug by Dinosaur Jr.
Apr 25 2022

Pretty cool but also a loooot of noise.

OK Computer by Radiohead
Apr 26 2022

Very enjoyable. No one song really stood out to me though.

Rhythm Nation 1814 by Janet Jackson
Apr 27 2022

The interludes were an interesting addition. I enjoyed her voice and the dance vibe of the songs. The lyrics were kinda meh and every song could have been about a minute shorter. The last few songs were less enjoyable, I felt the didn't match the vibe.

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Apr 28 2022

Nice, nothing particularly stood out.

The Age Of The Understatement by The Last Shadow Puppets
Apr 30 2022

It gives me modern spaghetti western vibes. Fun, short songs. First song blew me away, thoroughly enjoyed this album.

New Forms by Roni Size
May 01 2022

It's a no from me. So long... Some nice beats, but I didn't enjoy this album.

Let It Be by The Replacements
May 02 2022

Fun, rock and roll

All Mod Cons by The Jam
May 03 2022

All these songs are fun and catchy!

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
May 04 2022

Do it again and Reelin' in the years are just *chef's kiss*. I feel like I should be a bit less shy about handing out 5 star reviews, and you know what, this is a very good start. This album is chill and smooth and versatile and clever and just great.

1999 by Prince
May 05 2022

He has such a recognizable style and voice. I feel seduced by Prince a little bit, it really does spiral into some real sexual songs. There's definitely some great songs, though some went on a bit long.

Lam Toro by Baaba Maal
May 06 2022

Interesting sound, also quite modern. Some I liked a bit more, some a bit less, nothing really stood out.

Different Class by Pulp
May 07 2022

Never heard of this band before, but very nice!

May 08 2022

It's just so weeeeird. The sounds, what she is doing with her voice, not really enjoyable.

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
May 09 2022

It was fun. Only song that stood out was Dixie Drug Store.

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
May 10 2022

So cool! Very different from what I listen to normally, but I liked it. The layering of sounds and rhythms as an intro was really nice.

Something different, but pretty cool.
