This album is one of the absolute greatest albums of all time, maybe top 50 material. This album changed my life before I ever listened to it. Virtually everything I love about music has some Sly in it in some way or another. Timeless. TIMELESS. Groove. Sex appeal. Funk. Slap bass. VOCALS. Guitars. Melody. Harmony. This album has everything I want in an album.

It was really good, but not my favorite. He does really interesting things with singing past when a measure or instrument stops it’s primary attack, and that just lends to totally cool vibes. I got bored after a bit, but my attention span also isn’t the best.

Love this album. Definitely my fifth favorite of theirs, but thats not a diss. This is definitely the album that helped me understand that them, and many other bands, are doing more than just creating music. In a lot of ways albums like this and Ziggy Stardust are my introduction the art world. It carries on a little bit but it delivers some of the most personal work of Roger Waters' career.

Kept waiting for something to happen. Took like 4 songs to do so. I just felt like the album took way too long to do what they were trying to do.
