American Beauty
Grateful DeadOverall, it was an enjoyable album. Some songs seemed to drag a bit. Wren danced to every song. Mostly on her new beanbag chair.

Bad Talking Heads? Not my thing.

I hear some Manic Street Preachers in their sound. Maybe Oasis too. 70s AOR. Mr. Bungle. Turns out they are from Wales. Will be checking out more of their material.
This was one of my first CDs along with Nirvana - Nevermind, Village People - Greatest Hits, Damn Yankees - Don't Tread, Classic Queen and Queen Greatest Hits. Jim Steinman and Meatloaf never sounded better together.
I'm not the biggest Floyd fan. I've heard it once before.
Slow start but much of it was enjoyable. Not really my style. Probably won't listen again.
I know this album well. I listen to it often. Can't go wrong with Chicago.
Each song had a familiar sound to it. Maybe I've heard Fever Ray before and didn't know who it was. My wife recognized the first song as the "Vikings" theme. Not something I'd listen to regularly but it would be good for ambient music.
Great representation of the 90s. I've heard it before but it's been many years. I'll probably listen to it again someday or possibly other albums from their discography.
This not my style of music and I won't listen to it again.
So far the album reminds me of Hall and Oates. It's not terrible but not something I would not listen to often if at all.
I was never a fan of Dylan. I don't see the appeal. He may be a good song writer but not an enjoyable performer. The only Dylan songs I like are covers.
This is the first time I've ever listened to Joan Baez. I surprisingly enjoyed it. She has a very pleasant voice and impressive guitar skills. Some of the songs are depressing but musically engaging. I'll check out some more Joan Baez someday. Wren liked it too.
I enjoyed it. I'm not really a big fan of live albums so that's the only real negative. High quality recording.
Great 90s alt album. This is the first time listening to this band as far as I remember. Good stuff.
I've listened to Orbital before but not this album. I know them from the Mortal Kombat soundtrack. It's fine for background music. Not something I'd listen to regularly.
Never cared for Sonic Youth. Not even in my youth.
It was a bit rough. Not terrible but not my style.
Bad Talking Heads? Not my thing.
Game changer.
It was what I expected. Not bad but not my taste. Quality recording.
Very much blues rock. Ok but amazing.
Not much to say. Good album but not something I'd listen to regularly. I really only know "The Weight" from their previous album.
Short and sweet. Good stuff. Will listen to again.
Solid album. Love it. Best lineup of the band.
Not one of my favorite singers but a classic album for sure.
I'm not a fan of blues rock in general but The Rolling Stones are different. I don't know why but I can always find something to latch on to and enjoy.
Eh, not for me.
Typical Costello as far as I can tell. Not bad.
Got it for free from a friend's ex girlfriend. I listened to it quite a bit.
I didn't know what to expect but I enjoyed it. I'll check out more of his work. Almost straight 70s AOR but not.
Love ELO. Such an unmistakable sound.
Not good. Repetitive indie weirdo garbage.
Overall I liked it. Not amazing but ok.
It was fine. Not the biggest Sinatra fan but nothing wrong with it.
Interesting. What I expected. Not something I'd listen to regularly.
Solid 90s rock.
Not bad for indie.
Not a big Jane's Addiction fan but the album was worth a listen. Perry's vocals are a bit harsh.
Better than some of the other Sonic Youth albums I've heard but still not a fan.
Never heard of this group. I'll be listening to more for sure. Very chill and haunting vocals.
Know it well. Love classic Genesis.
Not for me. I don't understand the significance either.
British folk rock? Interesting. Not great but not bad.
I had to look up why this album was significant. First concept album. It was good. Beatles' sound.
Not as good as I remember but still a great listen.
Had to listen on youtube. Solid English rock. I don't remember much about the album.
A great album with a unique sound.
Chill at times. Soundscapes. Rock. All over the place. Not bad.
Interesting and informative.
Solid Stones album.
Atmospheric. Good listen.
OMD is great.
I did not enjoy it. His lazy singing made me anxious.
A bit raw. Liz is ok in small doses. Not my favorite but not bad.
I don't even know what genre this is. Supposedly psychedelic. I wasn't listening that closely but nothing grabbed me. Wasn't bad either.
One of my all time favorite albums.
Great album.
I'm not big on psychedelic music. It was ok.
No idea what this was. Not a fan.
Decent chill background music. Probably won't listen again though.
Great post-Brit pop. Will listen to more of their work.
One of the best albums ever.
Blues rock. It was ok.
I don't dislike the Bee Gees but this album was not for me.
Really great.
Sounds like a mix of Weezer and The Killers. Better than expected.
Good stuff.
Great if you like blues jams.
Overall enjoyable. Similar to Rolling Stones, The Who, Jefferson Airplane.
Great melodies.
Enjoyable. One song similar to LaRoux.
