The first album in this 1001 series that I really didn't enjoy at all.
Hit after hit. Easy listening and wonderful collection of tracks that I'd happily listen to again. Plus the album cover has a cat on it.
Standard early Elvis. Nothing really stood out for me and a few of the tracks blurred in to one another. But enjoyable if you are in a 60s rock and roll mood.
Typical 80s - drum machine, keyboards and overly british vocals. A bit of a dirge in places but would listen to them again if they were on the radio or something.

Great music. Classic Dire Straits sound which is timeless. Very listenable.
More listenable than I thought, typifies 90s Brit pop at the time however the substance of the music relies heavily on the vocalist. You take that away and its fairly bland.
Upbeat pop princess fun. Some good hooks and would listen again. Pop done well.
Not a style that I think I need to listen to do before I die. 80s punk - music is simplistic and predictable. listening to the one album is enough for me.

Really enjoyed. Not a fan of the vocals but the music is well written and enjoyed a lot
Great blues/rock sound, really good album with a range of tempos and melodies to suit the genre. Extremely enjoyable and a classic album.
Not my thing at all but could have it as background music i suppose.
A highly irritating album. Mostly because of the vocalist. Twangy guitar, terrible bass sound and no hooks/catchy phrases that ever stood out. No thank you.
Never really got in to Dylan before, but glad this gave me a chance to listen to an album in full. Still not a huge fan of his vocals, its an acquired taste but thoroughly enjoy the composition, sound and bluesy/country/folk/rock feel. Surprisingly enjoyable
Less rock and blues and much more folky than other albums of his I have listened to. A bit samey but prefer Dylans vocals on this album.
Forgot how great this album is. Great use of samples, lyrically creative and entertaining. Defined a generation.
Really enjoyed the instrumental musical elements of this - and has huge potential. But his voice just ruined every song for me.
All a bit samey to be honest. Some good bits in places but as a whole album I didn't enjoy it.
Very traditional country and western of an era. Quite slow paced and down tempo. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Classic album, well written, great vocals and musicianship.
Only 3 stars because there are only 3 or 4 good songs on this album, the rest is just a filler.
I'm glad this list picked the album that has the only tolerable song on it. Babylon was a tune back when I was a teen and listening back to this song brings with it memories of the 90s and carefree days. But I think it's more with nostalgia that I am fond of this rather then any real musical credibility. Not if the rest of the album is anything to go by. I'd like to say it was mediocre and middle of the road, but I think that would be giving it too much accolade. Dreary at best, track after track goes by without a memorable melody, lyric or rhythm. The sort of music you can put on in the background and completely forget its on. It's so disturbingly apologetic that I find it offensive. Bland. Boring. If this is an album I have to listen to before I die, I'd have preferred to have waited til I was in a coma and couldn't remember it.
