Very monotonous, many songs had the same sound, but there were definitely some hidden gems on here.
I feel like I'm playing Skate 3
Never really listened to blues, but this just changed my mind about it
Too much talking
One of the best. Beautiful album start to finish
Very nice and unique sound. Probably won't listen to it again, but I respect it
Groovy as shit
Take Five and Everybody's Jumping are my favorites, the rest felt like background music, not in a bad way though
DNF. Straight Trash
Music to dissociate to
Amazing album from almost start to finish. Miss: Real Favorite:Sing About Me, I’m Dying Of Thirst
Rolling Stones vibes, loved the rawness of the mixing
Elevator music/ Hotel Lobby vibes, not in a bad way though
A lot of the songs were very good, some goofy ones like One More Dance that I didn’t hate. Overall not a bad album
Amazing Album from start to finish, not my mood but I respect it
Honestly, the only two songs I really enjoyed on the album were Highway Star and Smoke on the Water. Everything else just kind of missed for me
Pleasant music, not something I would willingly put on though
I understand it’s relevance, and it’s influence on modern hip-hop, but the best part of rap to me is always to flow, and this music has no flow at all, it kind of just sounds like a clash of sounds with random spoken word over it. 6/10 for the cultural impact and the message of the album, but the music just didn’t hit at all for me.
Terrible Album, nothing redeeming about it. Maybe it would be slightly better if I was on acid or something
Pleasent music, doesn't stand out much to me but I enjoyed the whole listen. 7/10
Just okay. 6/10
DNF. 80s music triggers my fight or flight response.
Decent album. Best Song: Goodbye Toulouse Most interesting: Down in the Sewer 7.5/10
Immaculate album, I enjoyed every second of this listen. Djed was an epic by itself, and every song had its own unique vibe. 9.5/10, definitely would listen again
The album was just okay. None of the songs really stood out to me, and they all kind of just sounded like knock off Rolling Stones. I didn’t hate it, but there’s better music with the same sound. 4/10
It’s wasn’t a horrible album, but I still hate 80’s music. Don’t you want me is okay I guess. 4/10
Not great. Cult of Personality was the only semi-good song on this album to me. The guitar shredded though. 3.5/10
I really like this album. Drunk in an Irish Pub music. I really liked the Jesse James cover. 9.25/10
I love Otis Redding, and I did enjoy most of the songs on this album, but it’s just good to me, didn’t stand out as one of the best albums I’ve heard. Still, I give it an 8.5/10
I love Van Morrison, and this is my favorite album from him. This album has so many amazing songs that invoke some amazing feelings from me. And It Stoned Me and Caravan will always be on repeat for me. If I could give this album more than 5 stars I could. 11/10.
The fact that I didn’t completely hate it considering it’s 80’s sound is surprising. Born to Run was quite good. 5.5/10
I enjoyed this album, though I think this is only the third best Metallica album. Still great music, but because of that, it’s only getting a 8/10
I enjoy folk music, and I like a lot of Bob Dylan’s music, but for some reason this album was a hard listen for me. Joan’s voice is beautiful, but every song sounded exactly the same, it was kind of hard to get through a straight hour of it. I enjoyed Girl of Constant Sorrow, I don’t know if this is the original, but I really like the one from O Brother, so it was cool hearing this from 40 years prior. I hate to give this album 2 stars, but honestly for me, I feel that’s what it deserves. 4.5/10
I normally like reggae, and this wasn’t bad, but not the best I’ve heard. 6/10
Honestly DNF. I’m just going to give it 3 stars because I didn’t hate what I listened to, but it was just way too slow for me, wasn’t my mood at all.
Too Broadway sounding for me, 3.5/10
I love all of the popular songs form The Band, but never listened to any of their albums all the way through. Honestly, I expected a lot more from the album, but it was still an enjoyable listen. 7/10
Decent for punk music, not entirely my taste but it was listenable. 5/10
Not a fan. Too 80s sounding. It was bearable though. 3.5/10
Decent. Most of the songs sounded a little too similar, but I really like this vibe. 7/10
