Popular Reviews

Live At The Regal by B.B. King

Powerful. You watch tv and there always seems to be that character that says "Listen to that guitar! listen to that pain and emotion!" and in the middle of a sitcom you kinda ignore that comment...but now that I've listened to this album I think I get it a bit more

Truth by Jeff Beck

Comes out swinging. Keeps hitting hard. Takes a break with Greensleeves, of all things...4/5

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Dec 29 2021

Just a solid album all around. She was taken from us too soon :(

Sweet Baby James by James Taylor
Jan 06 2022

It was chill in the background but I wasn't able to really absorb this one...on the other hand it didn't really jump out at me. Maybe it just isn't my thing.

Truth by Jeff Beck
Jan 07 2022

Low by David Bowie
Jan 11 2022

It wasn't the best David Bowie album but it was in fact a David Bowie album which means it was still pretty darn good. I did love the instrumental tracks.

Here's Little Richard by Little Richard
Jan 14 2022

It all felt kind of one note after the whole album was over but it was a good note.

Jan 17 2022

This album has some diversity and is exactly what you would expect from a Queen album. Fun to listen to. Let it repeat 3 times so I think I liked it.

Microshift by Hookworms
Jan 19 2022

It was interesting. I want to give it another listen.

Fred Neil by Fred Neil
Jan 20 2022

Not my thing specifically but I left it on repeat so can't complain

Frampton Comes Alive by Peter Frampton
Jan 24 2022

This was actually unexpectedly great for me. Was catching myself head-bopping multiple times.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Jan 25 2022

Some great classics, can't believe its my first time listening to this album

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Jan 26 2022

Great album this is great in the background and i could see myself leaving this on repeat all day. Less bop, more art.

The Bends by Radiohead
Jan 27 2022

This stayed on all day.

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Feb 02 2022

This was...something. Its definitely interesting but im not sure I'll ever go out of my way to listen to it again.

Feb 03 2022

This album has an interesting sound and I think I like it...but it wasn't grabbing me until the second time around. Would not mind coming back to this, but not something you can pop on in mixed company.

Disintegration by The Cure
Feb 08 2022

This album had some great vibes. Just chill all around.

Hms Fable by Shack
Feb 10 2022

2/5. This was a nice tone and pleasant and great but I don't think ill listen to it again.

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
Feb 11 2022

Ok this is right up my alley...probably gonna get an unfair rating in the positive direction for that. Great energy throughout. Im sure the lyrics are also great, but I haven't had time to absorb them, though I have caught glimpses of deeper meanings.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Feb 15 2022

Man...Janis Joplin whoa.

Foxbase Alpha by Saint Etienne
Feb 16 2022

Lo-fi-ish but from an earlier time.

Time (The Revelator) by Gillian Welch
Feb 17 2022

I feel like I wanted to like this but ultimately switched to my own music before it was over. Not bad at all, I guess just not for me.

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Feb 18 2022

This had a fun sound but its not going to upstage the Beatles as an album I pick out regularly or anything.

Ocean Rain by Echo And The Bunnymen
Feb 22 2022

Oh damn! "Nocturnal Me" has been covered by Ghost and I didn't realize it was even a cover.

Dookie by Green Day
Mar 04 2022

Super influential, gotta love it for what it gave us.

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Mar 07 2022

I know before even turning this on its going to be 5/5. What a great album, so many hits and still so relevant today, 35 years later.

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Mar 08 2022

Fun 1960's instrumental. Relaxing in its own way.

Tago Mago by Can
Mar 09 2022

Starts off interesting but then divulges into 17 minutes of a weird, liminal horror-scape sound track. I make a habit of trying to find joy in everything, and according to wikipedia there are a lot of people that think this album is great...I must have bad taste?

Beach Samba by Astrud Gilberto
Mar 11 2022

Very pleasant.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Mar 14 2022

I've never given Arcade Fire a shot despite them being all the rage back when I was in highschool...and this is dope, great album to have on.

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Mar 22 2022

Far be it from me to criticise Miles Davis, but this is just not for me.

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
Mar 24 2022

Good energy, did like.

Dummy by Portishead
Apr 01 2022

I love Portishead's self titled album but for some reason this is my first time listening to this one...so this will be fun.

Apr 04 2022

Really liked this. Feels like Common for some reason

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Apr 05 2022

First song by itself is perfect, I love it...it's just 12 minutes long so I don't want it showing up randomly...so I will have to save this album somewhere so I can play it in full every once in a while.
