Red Dirt Girl

Iβve loved this his album since I first heard it in 1994.
I love it when the Generator picks an album thatβs been a favorite of mine for years.
The Cramps before The Cramps
I heard it a bunch when it came out. Loved the hell out of it, but I think I like Late Registration a little more.

The only jam that I was already familiar with was Elvisβ version of Fever. Dirty, Dirty Feeling fucking slaps. The album sounds exactly how I thought it would sound, but with a bunch of songs that I didnβt already know. No big surprises today, but thatβs ok.
I guess I'm just not into mellow brit pop unless it's Pulp. This was a chore to listen to.
No one else has ever made anger sound so beautiful.
The album cuts are almost as good as the hits.
I almost didnβt want to listen became an ex used to ruin Criminal at karaoke a lot, but Iβm glad I did.
The Cramps before The Cramps
5 Stars because I had an amazing time watching some of their set when they played this album at a festival.
It had a Grace Jones vibe that I never noticed.
Itβs nice and mellow listen, even it hipster CSNY/CSN knock-offs arenβt your jam.
Decent background music.

Hadnβt heard it since the release.
The best way to start any morning.
It was a great soundtrack to a wonderful Sunday morning drive.
The only β70s hard rock show tunes Iβd fuck with are Alice Coopers.
This shit rules.
Pretty bubblegum pop
Sorry bruv, but I canβt stand listening to Brits rap. I was out after 4 or 5 tracks.
Better than Psychocandy and Automatic
Fuck that
Boring
My 2nd or 3rd album on this thing was The Verveβs Urban Hymns. My review was something like, I only like slow Brit pop if itβs Pulp. This is the album I was referring to.
I dug the stuff on the album that didnβt sound so much like CSN
Itβs for sure in the top 5 best hip hop album of the β90s. Maybe top 5 of all time.
It used to be my favorite Smiths album, w but it gets harder to listen to as Morrissey becomes a bigger twat.
I like them more when theyβre not trying to be Oasis so hard.
I thought this was already in my record collection and was mad at myself when I realized I didnβt.
In my all-time top 10
No
Haunting, somber, achingly beautiful, and powerful.
Halfway through I started to wish I was listening to Exile on Main St instead.
Fuck these critics and their love of Steely Dan
I love it when the Generator picks an album thatβs been a favorite of mine for years.
Hard pass on anything after One Hot Minute.
Sounded like the other early OMD stuff that Iβve also heard and liked.
Classic
Great but maybe shouldnβt have been a double album.
The horns make late β60s Elvis sound cheesy and fun.
A funky good time.
Almost as good of a live album as The Stoneβs Get Yer Ya-Yaβs Out.
A little more rocking than most bubblegum pop from that era.
Hell yeah!
I appreciated it more on this listen than I did years ago, when I heard it around the time Back to Black came out.
Didn't like it then, not in the mood to try liking it now.
Definitely his most fun album.
