Live At The Harlem Square Club
Sam CookeReally appropriate mix in the week before my wedding. Great voice and energy. Band is kinda far back in the mix behind Sam. Pacing is a bit...intense. Will definitely listen again.

I hear Built to Spill in in the title track, and Modest Mouse in Elevation. Clearly a foundational album for a lot of rock bands. I don't really think it hits its stride until mid-album.
Never heard of Tricky. Very moody. Recognize some of these beats from remixes and samples. Probably not something I would listen to except in like, a very specific vibe.
Wow the guitar work is awesome. I hear Dan Auerbach in spite of the fact that everything else is very much African.
Maybe the most 80’s album I’ve ever heard. Lots of classics I guess, but I don’t feel like the music behind the vocals has aged well. Some songs are just too long (private dancer felt like it played twice in a row).
There is not a weak track on this album. The ones that aren’t total bangers make up for it with fantastic composition on the keys.
As a huge Gorillaz fan, glad I was finally pressured to listen to a Blur album. However, I can't say I was impressed.
This one’s a favorite. Saw them open for the chili peppers a few weeks ago and was super impressed too.
haaaappiness....is a warm gun
I see why people find steely Dan insufferable, but I dug it.
Yeah I dug it. Decent amount of psych guitar solos. Found it a lot more accessible than that Blur album.
Wow, awesome mix of grunge and psychedelic guitars. Definitely hear some king gizz in here.
I mean just classic badass punk rock. It's not complicated but it doesn't need to be to sound great.
Not my favorite Dylan album, but absolutely a classic. Maybe his last great album?
I have never listened to this album but I know all the songs. Soulful. Hard to rate it, because it’s not my style, but I respect it a lot.
I <3 Karen O
I hear Gwen Stefani meets Lou Reed.
I feel like before the big daft punk return this would have sounded dated, but I think it sounds great.
I mean the production is solid and take me out is on guitar hero but - big meh.
Kinda just one long loose jam. But fun.
I get that this is influential for like...Primus...and various other weird bands I love. But IMO pretty nearly unlistenable.
Too much filler on Andre’s side. Love below has the biggest singles, but speakerboxxx is the stronger album for sure.
Flava flav sounds like shit, but chuck d rocks. And the lyrical content is ahead of it’s time.
Queen? Weezer? Interesting straight ahead rock nothin fancy.
I mean how can I criticize a soul singer that I saw at Glastonbury in a tent called "Le Pussy Parlor Nouveau" after The Pharcyde.
Is there anything more punk rock than writing a song about a prison, about how awful that prison is, then asking a guard for a glass of water, then playing the song a second time through?
Only dinging a star because the covers are weak. Otherwise, a party front to back.
Really struggled to get through this one.
I did not appreciate how much Interpol sounds like REM until this listen. Good album but it's a very specific mood.
Some really overplayed songs, but a masterpiece I suppose.
Weird and better than I expected.
A favorite from my teens
Maybe I was just in the right mood, but this was excellent. Hints of Daft Punk, but mellower.
