Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Dec 08 2022

- perfection is fun đŸ‘ŒđŸŒ - obvs already love It’s Tricky and Walk This Way - Overall, style isn’t necessarily mine. Bit jarring? Unexpected sounds rather than smooth? But still fun

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Dec 09 2022

- Big Ten Inch Record is surprisingly a bop - I expected to like the album more, but You See Me Crying was a strong finish

Being There by Wilco
Dec 12 2022

- This album is entirely new to me. I’ve heard of Wilco, but never listened to any of their music - I like Outtasite (Outta Mind) (& vice versa) and Someday Soon - I can see myself listening to this again

Stankonia by OutKast
Dec 13 2022

- Ms Jackson is the standout for me - But overall, just not my style. The intros and segues between songs are really neat. I think it’s artistically a great album, but not something I would listen to regularly

Entertainment by Gang Of Four
Dec 14 2022

- entirely new to me. Never heard of Gang of Four - Ether has “skipping” quality than grates my nerves - I have essentially no opinion. It really blended into the background as I listened. It may have been progressive at the time it came out, (and I appreciate that it was influential on others) but it just sounds like classic punk rock to me

Goo by Sonic Youth
Dec 15 2022

- not for me

Face to Face by The Kinks
Dec 19 2022

- sunny afternoon is great - would enjoy listening to this again. Easy, fun, upbeat

Shaft by Isaac Hayes
Dec 20 2022

- catchy! Could see this being really fun to have on in the background while working. - unfortunately I couldn’t listen to the whole thing. Only 4 of the songs were available on Spotify

The Dreaming by Kate Bush
Dec 21 2022

- parts of a song are enjoyable and then it sounds like something out of a horror movie. Like a witch singing - cannot imagine listening to this not at Halloween time

Dec 22 2022

- I didn’t make any notes. Ambivalent

Halcyon Digest by Deerhunter
Jan 18 2023

- nice, gentle background music

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Jan 23 2023

- loving it, very fun - totally out of my normal genre but might need to listen to more

Abraxas by Santana
Jan 24 2023

- oye como Va is so frigging good

Melody A.M. by Röyksopp
Jan 26 2023

- didn’t know what to expect (metal?) but this is chill and a bop - really great work/study background music

Trans Europe Express by Kraftwerk
Feb 01 2023

- really liked Europe Endless. Felt familiar? Office-theme vibes? - less fond of hall of mirrors - a little creepy - unexpectedly enjoyable

Pelican West by Haircut 100
Feb 02 2023

- feels like I’m watching an 80s movie - not bad. Bopping along

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Feb 03 2023

- not really my jam. Fine. Just not for me. - FZ/HR was referenced in something I read and I cannot remember it and it’s driving me mental

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Feb 06 2023

- so infamous that I expected to enjoy it more - was simply fine

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Feb 07 2023

- was expecting metal based on the name? Not what I got haha - not the biggest fan of his voice. A lot of odd noises? Not for me

Will The Circle Be Unbroken by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Feb 08 2023

- really enjoyed Nashville Blues and You are My Flower - the instrumentals are great - not fond of all the talking

Synchronicity by The Police
Feb 09 2023

- not the biggest police fan but enjoying so far - Mother is Beatles-esque? Which is to say, not my fav - I do like King of Pain and Wrapped Around Your Finger - do I like the police? I really came in thinking i didn’t đŸ€”

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Feb 13 2023

- foot tapping fun

Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Feb 15 2023

- wow really can’t stand this. 2 songs in and don’t think I can do an entire album - hate this. DNF (half way through hair pie)

Idlewild by Everything But The Girl
Feb 17 2023

- reminds me of someone, can’t place my finger on - very non-offensive. Nice background music

Arrival by ABBA
Feb 20 2023

- yay!! - money, money, money is criminally underrated

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Feb 21 2023
Immigrés by Youssou N'Dour
Feb 23 2023

- different than anything I normally listen to. I feel that I cannot judge it when it’s not in my field of knowledge

Solid Air by John Martyn
Feb 24 2023

- again, just not my style

Hotel California by Eagles

System Of A Down by System Of A Down
Mar 08 2023

- was very intimidated to start this, but actually bopping along and having fun

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar
Mar 09 2023

- unexpected. Have it on in the background and then suddenly will realize I know the song

Smash by The Offspring
Mar 13 2023
Mar 15 2023

- expected to like it more - sweet dreams has never been my favourite (overplayed) but I like other eurythmics songs. This was meh for me

The Rise & Fall by Madness
Mar 20 2023

- only a few of the songs were available on Spotify - didn’t hear enough to judge

Manassas by Stephen Stills
Mar 24 2023

- never heard of - eagles vibes - I like it

Closer by Joy Division
Mar 29 2023

- not into it
