1001 Albums Summary

- perfection is fun 👌🏼 - obvs already love It’s Tricky and Walk This Way - Overall, style isn’t necessarily mine. Bit jarring? Unexpected sounds rather than smooth? But still fun

- Big Ten Inch Record is surprisingly a bop - I expected to like the album more, but You See Me Crying was a strong finish

- This album is entirely new to me. I’ve heard of Wilco, but never listened to any of their music - I like Outtasite (Outta Mind) (& vice versa) and Someday Soon - I can see myself listening to this again

- Ms Jackson is the standout for me - But overall, just not my style. The intros and segues between songs are really neat. I think it’s artistically a great album, but not something I would listen to regularly

- entirely new to me. Never heard of Gang of Four - Ether has “skipping” quality than grates my nerves - I have essentially no opinion. It really blended into the background as I listened. It may have been progressive at the time it came out, (and I appreciate that it was influential on others) but it just sounds like classic punk rock to me

- sunny afternoon is great - would enjoy listening to this again. Easy, fun, upbeat

- catchy! Could see this being really fun to have on in the background while working. - unfortunately I couldn’t listen to the whole thing. Only 4 of the songs were available on Spotify

- parts of a song are enjoyable and then it sounds like something out of a horror movie. Like a witch singing - cannot imagine listening to this not at Halloween time

- really enjoyed Nashville Blues and You are My Flower - the instrumentals are great - not fond of all the talking

- not the biggest police fan but enjoying so far - Mother is Beatles-esque? Which is to say, not my fav - I do like King of Pain and Wrapped Around Your Finger - do I like the police? I really came in thinking i didn’t 🤔
