Abbey Road by Beatles
Dec 09 2022

One of the best ever. Big fan of all Beatles, esp. Rubber Soul and after. Abbey Road one of the best. Favorite lyric: “And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make.”

Private Dancer by Tina Turner
Dec 12 2022

Was sort of the soundtrack of my childhood. Not something I would actively seek out, but a lot of that’s were always on the radio. I’m interested in checking out the deeper cuts.

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Dec 13 2022

Great album all around. Songs are timeless and don’t sound like typical early 1970s pop.

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
Dec 14 2022

Smashing pumpkins wannabes without the contrasting soft melodic parts to build up to the rocking parts. Probably not much talent covered up with tons of feedback and distortion. Not a fan of the inaudible lyrics and the droning music is tiresome. Not a fan.

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Dec 16 2022

Good example of timeless 80s music. Holds up well, doesn’t sound cheesy. Interesting “Broken” intro that never gets played on radio with “head over heels”.

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Dec 19 2022

Heard a lot of these a million times on classic rock radio. Good songs just overplayed.

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Dec 22 2022

Inroduces to title cut from Pulp Fiction soundtrack. Can’t wait to hear the rest. So far so good. I dig the horns.

Safe As Milk by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Dec 23 2022

Not my cup of tea. I appreciate the early 60s psychedelic sound reminiscent of early Floyd, the Yardbirds, Jefferson Airplane, etc.

Metallica by Metallica
Jan 16 2023

Heard this whole album a million times. All-time classic!
