Excellent melding of the Buzzcovk edge and the Velvets

Thin vocals, overproduced instrumentation. Why is this considered good music?

Would be 5/5, but Nick’s voice isn’t my cup of tea

Fits right in with Sonic Youth, Cracker, early Pixies, and Television. Even a bit of Primus (sans bass). Malkus’ voice works with the low fi production.

Good heavy metal, but I prefer punk.

Super clean production appropriate for coffee shop sound systems or the moody segments of Grey’s Anatomy.

First three tracks were a snoozer, last three were more interesting.

Overplayed on my local alternative radio station, so I can’t give it a fair review.

The more discordant it gets, the more I like it. Particularly like when the trumpet punches in.

A solid 5 out of 5, even though it isn’t my favorite Talking Heads album.

I can’t stand this album. You can credit the 11 minute song on this album for ushering in Punk. Bloated meandering mess from an era of middling overlong musical wankfests.
