Aladdin Sane
David BowieProper start to finish excellent. Songs like Cracked Actor, The Prettiest Star, The Jean Genie, in fact the whole lot, just sound amazing. An album to be played LOUD and fill the house. Delighted this was a full weekender

Can be tough-going Joni. When she's great she's super-brilliant, eg River, Both Sides Now, but the jazz-folk fusion can be a bit grating. This album, for me, was more of the latter.
There was a time in my life that I may have liked this more, but its not now
Bo-ring
Not an album I know, really quite enjoyed it. Elements of the Cocteau Twins reinterpreted with guitars and without all that is amazing about Liz Fraser
If a 4.5 existed I'd rate it that
Enjoyed it more than I thought I would, but can't see me going back to it
Really good album, if not one of his best. Problem with artists as prolific as the 'other Elvis' is that unless you've been in on him since early it's tough to get a grip on the back catalogue. But I've always liked him and the sooner I see him in concert the better.
Pleasant enough, but I've come to the conclusion that 90% of this type of 60s stuff is no more than pleasant really.
I love this album, it's a start to finish belter
Thorough bit of 'enjoyness'
What a 'Jackie Brambles'
Still sounds mostly great. Some bangers in there. Wee bit 'of its time' in places. Have you watched a 90s Tarantino movie recently?
Enjoyed listening to one of the earliest electronic albums for what it was. Not sure any more than a few od the songs stand up on their own nowadays.
Top top top album
Will be surprised if I ever go looking for it again, but passed time and didn't dislike it at all
A top of the tree all-time favourite list album. Contains some of my favourite songs, and in my humble opinion, the best album opening track ever.

Not my cup of tea
A brilliant album. Listened to 4 times all the way through since last night, and Fascination Street about 10 times
Enjoyable, but not my favourite of his albums
Possibly the worst 'classic' album of all time
I have a split opinion on Otis, at odds with my love of the soul greats, and this album sums it up. When he's good he's amazing, like on the opening track, Ole Man Trouble, Dead in the Valley and I've been loving you to long. But at other times he claws on me, the soul equivalent of Christina Aguilera, all growls and runs that ignore the song itself. I HATE his versions of A change is gonna come and Wonderful world. I don't enjoy Respect, but in its itself its a good version, it's just not Aretha's empowering anthem. Even taking that out of it, Otis' version doesn't come close to Aretha's. How can I love the soul greats and be critical of Otis Redding? Because I do and I do.
The Best by Radiohead
Odd
Still sounds great. Went on a personal REM revival a couple of years and listened to a lot of their albums in their entirety. I do think it got better for them but this is still great and there's some proper Strathclyde University Union Level 8 classics in this album
Really like this album. Brillianty fun and short. I knew it already and after discovering went back to it quite a lot. If there was a 4.5/5 I would give it that. JLL himself was clearly dodgy right enough.
Aye, it's OK
Listened to first 3 or 4 songs and found nothing to like
Bad start, but enjoyed bits further into it. Was out walking the dog listening to it and every now and then I'd have a break while talking to someone. When it went back on I would like it again for a while. Last track as bad as the first.
Solid
Just a joy
Bring the noise!!!
Saw them at Meadowbank Stadium around 1988 and they were brilliant. Not sure their general sound has aged that well in general. I enjoy a song or two now, like the opening track or Promised You A Miracle, but quite quickly lose interest after that
An album I've listened to a lot
I don't think it's ever been a particularly great album, just 'good', and it's not really aged any better than that
Really enjoyed that. Knew a few that I didn't realise. Was a great morning dug walk album
One of my favourites. Wouldn't be a popular opinion, but I think it might be the best 'Beatles' album
There was a time in my life that I may have liked this more, but its not now
Sounds like a different artist each song. Thought it was a great wee slice of fun
