Document by R.E.M.
Jun 20 2023

Easy to listen to. Great vocals and calming rhythm to the music. Good background music

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Jun 21 2023

Jazzy! Post war, jazz orchestra with great brass and woodwind. No lyrics or singing. Teddy the Toad was suave and a good listen. Not something I would listen to often

Green by R.E.M.
Jun 22 2023

Easy to have on in the background again. Nothing special and no standouts for me

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Jun 23 2023

Not to my taste but there was something quite relaxing about listening to it whilst walking in the sunshine and heat through fields at work

Graceland by Paul Simon
Jun 26 2023

Okay to have on in the background. You Can Call Me Al is a good song but not too fussed on the others

Play by Moby
Jun 27 2023

Good album. Alternative and not something that I would have listened to before but Porcelain is a great, well known song. Machete gave me early Prodigy vibes but I would definitely listen again

Synchronicity by The Police
Jun 28 2023

Really disliked the forst half of the album (first 6 songs) and felt they were being provocative for the sake of it but the other songs were more what I expected. Not sure I would bother to listen to this again

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Jun 29 2023

Not a very good album in my view. A couple of good tracks but as an whole album, I wouldn't bother

My favourite album to listen to so far. Catchy, ryhtmic drums and good vocals from Bono. Surprised at how many I knew but starting with Beautiful Day is a great start to an album. Upbeat, easy listen. Will definitely listen again

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Jul 03 2023

Good 90s hip hop album. Didn't get the chance to properly listen to it but will definitely revisit it

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Jul 04 2023

Already a huge fan of this album. Great nostalgia trip and I love LP anyway. Some great tracks on here and iconic among fans

One World by John Martyn
Jul 05 2023

Soulful voice with jazz and blues music. Enjoyed this album a lot more than I thought I would

Yeezus by Kanye West
Jul 06 2023

What a song Black Skinhead is with a brilliant beat! The majority of the album felt like a bad school music project remix that someone made. The random samples that were dropped in at random points of songs were not good and unnecessary. Only enjoyed the one song with the rest of them just being crazy Kanye

Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jul 07 2023

Not my taste. Good guitar riffs and drums but the style of singing isn't for me. Would not listen again

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Jul 11 2023

Good hip hop album. Enjoyed listening to it but more of a 2Pac fan. Definitely one to listen to again

Jul 12 2023

Jazzy, enjoyable listen. Some funny parts with the live conversations with audiences. Enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. Listen again gladly

Cross by Justice
Jul 13 2023

I already knew of Genesis so it's a great start to an album. I also recognise D.A.N.C.E which was a nice surprise. The rest of the album was a bit average though. Not sure I will bother to listen to the whole album again

Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Jul 14 2023

Not my favourite style of Rap/Hip Hop. Burn Hollywood Burn was my favourite track but Fight the Power is also a good track

Tommy by The Who
Jul 17 2023

I like the Who and know a lot of their other work. Can't say I've listened to this before but feel it would be better having watched the film. Pinball Wizard and Sally Simpson are more what I was expecting of this album

Jul 18 2023

Incredibly easy to listen to. Cash has an incredible voice and there is something so beautifully simple about this album. Hurt is one of my favourite songs released in my lifetime anyway but there were more gems on this album

British Steel by Judas Priest
Jul 19 2023

Not a bad album but not one I will listen to again through choice. Drums, guitar and vocals aren't bad but I prefer heavier than this personally

Floodland by Sisters Of Mercy
Jul 21 2023

Typically 80s alternate rock. Got massive Lost Boys vibes with the drums and guitar

The Grand Tour by George Jones
Jul 26 2023

Proper Americana country bumpkin line dancing vibes. Not for me despite George Jones having a great voice

Safe As Milk by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Jul 28 2023

I did not know what I was in for with this album bit strangely enjoyed it. It is a bit country crossed with 60/70s rock which I quite liked. Fairly upbeat and alternative but not bad by any stretch. Definitely not aomething I would have listened to myself but I didn't mind it

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Jul 31 2023

Great album. Already a lot of well known songs on here but enjoyed having it on. A classic

Reggatta De Blanc by The Police
Aug 01 2023

Some well known songs on this album. Not fantastic but a good listen. Message in a Bottle is the best song on the album

Leftism by Leftfield
Aug 02 2023

Very different to anything else I have listened to so far. I liked the vocals on the first fee tracks and the varied choices of drums were good. It felt like the songs went on for a long time but I still thought it wasn't a bad album

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Aug 03 2023

Love this album. Huge fan of Shine On You Crazy Diamond parts 1-5 so it's a fantastic way to start an album. Wish You Were Here is a classic but overall, a great album that brings back some good memories

Immigrés by Youssou N'Dour
Aug 04 2023

Very different. I liked listening to it and found it quite cheerful

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Aug 07 2023

Not bad but not one I will rush back to
