1001 Albums Summary

Solid album, I was surprised by how many songs I recognized.

Great, classic album! I didn’t realize I knew so many songs by the Cars, and they’re all on one album!

A good album which carries memories for me from a very specific period of time but, while there are a few very good songs, I do find Linkin Park’s style gets repetitive.

As iconic as this album is, this was actually my first time listening to it. I have a lot of respect for Bruce but, I hate to say it, other than the few well known tracks, this album didn’t really resonate with me.

Pretty good album - sounds like Arcade Fire. I like some of their songs but not much was jumping out at me here.

I hadn’t listened to this album in years but it is something of a modern classic. There are some really good songs here.

I was completely unfamiliar with this album and yet, listening to it, the sound was very familiar. It’s definitely a sound very specific to the early 70’s.

If I heard these guys playing in a bar, I’d think, “hey, they’re pretty good”

I am very familiar with Black Sabbath and their place in rock/metal history but this is my first time listening to an album- good stuff!

A lyrical masterpiece- Masters of War is a huge stand out for me.

Good album, previously my only exposure to Living Colour was playing Cult of Personality on Guitar Hero, which is the standout here.

Usually punk albums are short and sweet; this one is not

I remember when this album came out and Alanis was EVERYWHERE but this was actually my first time listening to this whole album. A solid album; You Oughta Know and Ironic are the stand outs.
