This feels like Leonard Cohen unearthed some ancient scrolls written by ancient gods detailing the meaning of life and death. Incredible album.
It was a lot of fun to hear Johnny interact with the crowd and make jokes. It added a lot of enjoyment to the album.
The rolling stones are a favorite of mine and this album is a lot of fun
Good album overall, I really enjoyed the classroom bits and hearing the kids talk about love in between songs. It's also very apparent how influential this album was for other rappers which is cool to hear.
I'm not a big country music fan but I think this album has some songs that touch on serious issues and I felt connected to. It doesn't have a ton of replayability for me just based on personal preference but I do think it was well done
Great album but not my favorite from Rush
Really fun, upbeat album that I can see myself listening to again and again
A truly pleasant album. Nothing more nothing less
I'm sure these guys are great but I almost fell asleep at the wheel listening to this album. One star for safety
Top 3 Led Zeppelin albums. One of the best in rock
Fun and funky album. Minus points for questionable lyrics
Super fun album that almost sounds like a Beatles greatest hits album. No skip, 5 stars
Not a super interesting album, good vocals and some of the songs were catchy
Fun punky album
Crown of love and wake up are masterpieces. Solid album all around
This is one where I probably would benefit from understanding the lyrics. Beautiful music but didn't really connect for me
Really interesting sound, fun to listen to
Really interesting listen. I loved the bass and unique sounds throughout
I love the concept that slim shady is like the devil on his shoulder and I want to like it more but some of the songs were just too dark and gruesome. Talented rapper though
I love the idea of this album. Execution was mediocre
Mid
Absolute banger
MGMT has such a unique sound they're always fun to listen to
I really enjoyed this album, I can see myself coming back to it again
Every song was a bop
Angry big time rush
This album is what happens when a teenager in the 90s wants to make a spy movie but they have no money so they recruit their 13 year old brother who got a soundboard for Christmas to make the soundtrack
I have mixed feelings about this album. On one hand little red Corvette and critics only love u in NY are fantastic. On the other hand getting into your car in a dark parking garage and hearing the beginning of 1999 is really not it. The album is half iconic pop songs and half the world is going to end subplot I was not expecting. I still really like Prince but none of these songs needed to be more than 4-5 mins long
Entertaining ambience
I'm partial to life albums, they always have more energy and are more fun to listen to. This was no exception
Aretha Franklin is so talented
Great album, I love all of the references to other songs, movies, books. It's so much more interesting knowing the inspiration for the songs
Another banger from Johnny
The beats were good, her voice is good, the lyrics are good, but this album just had too much going on for me to enjoy it. I might come back to it and change my mind because I do love politically charged music but for now I'm not a huge fan
Im giving the album a 4 because I really enjoyed it but it didn't blow me away. I'll definitely be going back and listening to more of their stuff though
Weird album. Loved it
I wanted to like this more but it wasn't cohesive enough for me
Some of my favorite versions but also some versions I didn't like. Very festive either way
