Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Oct 25 2023

I wasn't a big fan. There were moments where I heard the Stevie Wonder that I am most familiar with, but there were other songs that felt less funk heavy and more ... instrumental.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Oct 26 2023

Some classics on this one. I liked their more punk songs. Their slower stuff was a little generic.

My Generation by The Who
Oct 30 2023

Classic. Not necessarily my cup of tea, but it was good.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Oct 31 2023

It was good ... classic. Not something I'd likely turn on, but not necessarily something I was skipping through

Real Life by Magazine
Nov 02 2023

I liked it a lot more than I expected to. Will likely return to listen to more

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Nov 04 2023

Not my jam, but I appreciate what it is and recognized some songs.

Nov 05 2023

Not my jam. Also I learned more about hurricanes than I expected to.

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Nov 06 2023

It was alright. I was hoping for more depth and diversity. Won't listen to it again.

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Nov 07 2023

I had no idea razorface was Elton John. Decent album. A little slow for my tastes, but it was undeniably Elton John.

Microshift by Hookworms
Nov 08 2023

Really liked it, and likely will continue listening. Has a fun alternative rock / electronic mix.

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Nov 16 2023

I know a lot of people like John Coltrane and I can't argue with the talent present, but I struggle with hearing anything other than a tasmanian devil in a kitchen with a lot of cutlery.

Tago Mago by Can
Nov 17 2023

Interesting funk tone to it. I'm still not sure if they were singing in English or not. It was interesting background music, but hard to get into.

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Nov 18 2023

It's everything I expected from an Alice in Chains album. Not my cup of tea, but not bad.

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Nov 20 2023

It's weird how much of my musical life has been Nine Inch Nails adjacent while not really listening to them. I'm intrigued and will listen to more, but immediate impression was "yeah, I know why I didn't gravitate towards Nine Inch Nails".

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Nov 22 2023

I was reminded how much I enjoy Elliot Smith. I will be revisiting this. It was great.

Sincere by Mj Cole
Nov 23 2023

It was interesting. Not really my jam, but also not not my jam. Going middle of the road

Nov 24 2023

I forgot how good Ice Cube is. I reviewed before I finished the album, but I'm definitely going to listen to the album and likely favorite some songs.

Different Class by Pulp
Nov 25 2023

Reminded me of Elliot Smith. Had some good alt hippy vibes. Vocals were a little all over the place for my taste but still interesting

Street Life by The Crusaders
Nov 26 2023

This album started in a very different place than it began ... and then returned. I was very into the higher tempo more upbeat songs while the slower jazzier stuff lost my interest.

Street Signs by Ozomatli
Nov 27 2023

Up beat, a lot of fun.

The Yes Album by Yes
Nov 30 2023

Fun background music, but not something I would turn on.

Faust IV by Faust
Dec 01 2023

Faust's tone didn't feel like it came from 1973. It was darker, more organic. I ended up liking them much more than expected.

Sea Change by Beck
Dec 02 2023

This was an easy listen. I was familiar with Beck although I didn’t listen to the album before. I enjoyed it but not a lot

Autobahn by Kraftwerk
Dec 03 2023

hmmm

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Dec 05 2023

It's Ella Fitzgerald. She's amazing. Full stop. I'll be listening to more of this.

Dec 06 2023

Loved the guitars. Not as much a fan of the vocals. Feel like my guy needs a losenge.
