First and last tracks are such heaters

Short and sweet :) really wish they'd let us rarte stuff with half stars because this is a perfect 3.5 album tbh. Few dud tracks but the highs (Patterns, Homeward Bound) are near the S&G peak

Maybe the 5th of 6th best Björk album but still undeniable

Pleasant! Singer not quite as dynamic as an Albarn or a Gallagher but some groovy instrumentals here. Love the Brit-hop / trip-pop vibe on Loose Fit (pinkie swear this was in here before others mentioned it lol) and the kooky horns on Bob's Yer Uncle

Now Lang I can get into

Not as good as the banana album or Loaded but still nice

Imagining starting an album by inventing rap (joke tbc) and ending it with It's Alright Ma > Baby Blue and it's still not even the best album you release that year... 60s Dylan had that dawg in him

The softer tracks are kinda forgettable but boy when this hits it really hits

Pretty good way to start a new year

Had never listened to Spider-Man before but can definitely hear this influence in just a bunch of newer 'weird rock' bands. Very cool, and good

16 tracks had me worried but this was a pleasant, breezy listen! Lot of this sounds like the sort of thing that would play in a Mexican restaurant (complimentary), but dug the weirder cuts best (Bongo Bong, Welcome to Tijuana, etc.)

One of the first albums I ever heard because a friend was discussing and not because of radio or my parents. Never really need to hear WWH again but they're an eternal fave sorry

Lot of experimental stuff on here that I (a) wasn't really expecting and (b) doesn't really work but boy wow America is one of the best songs ever written huh

Probably hadn't listened to this in full since my Dan phase in college but still remembered every song vividly. Bodhisattva is a monster live too

Really interesting mix of tempos and moods that probably wouldn't work as well for a less gifted singer

Y'all really weren't kidding about Awaken My Love biting their sound

Enjoyed this more than I expected to honestly

Disco II Disco is either the best or most annoying song I've ever heard and I think it's closer to the former

One very very good single (Pick Up Your Feelings) does not a great album make... nice to know the list has releases this current I guess

Probably the best solo Wu Tang album
