Five Leaves Left
Nick Drakei like nick drake, but this album isn’t my favorite. the instrumentals are peaceful but i find it boring overall.

listening to this album was boring. all the songs sound the same. i found “trip through your wires” and “bullet the blue sky” to be the best ones and even those i don't really like. it’s safe to say i will never listen to this album again.
meh. it’s not bad, but i don’t quite get the hype. i’d have to be on drugs to listen to this again and even for that i’d rather put on something else.
i didn’t like this album, it’s unimpressive and boring. a couple songs (“kamera”) weren’t that bad, and i used to listen to “heavy metal drummer” in high school. the rest of them (“radio cure,” “poor places,” “reservations”) were so hard to get through.
i like bjork but mostly listen to individual songs rather than entire albums. vespertine is different, though. it’s beautiful, detailed, and intimate, and i appreciate that it’s cohesive. i’ve played it through twice now and it makes me want to be a winter fairy watching the snow fall in my ice palace.
this album some of my favorite jimi songs in it: “gypsy eyes,” “come on (let the good times roll),” and “voodoo child.” “crosstown traffic” is also really good. some of the songs go on for too long and get boring, but i know jamming is kinda the whole point and the songs i do enjoy make up for it
i groaned when the generator gave me this album. i feel no different after listening. their slick, commercial sound is lifeless and empty, every song is over-produced, and the whole thing is too safe and predictable. it gets one star and an eye roll from me.
not the worst, but none of the songs are good or memorable. i’ve already forgotten what i just listened to and i don’t like his voice.
glad this album is short because i didn’t like it
the songs are repetitive and pretty much sound the same, and with that, the album is long. i will say that the instrumentals are really nice and sound beautiful. the music is relaxing and atmospheric, but i’m not a fan of the vocals. not the kind of album i’d listen to
i love sam cooke and listening to him live is so special. his performance is raw, passionate, and absolutely incredible. there are only a few live albums i really enjoy, and this is for sure one of them.
hair metal sucks. the music is bad, and the lyrics are even worse. def leppard cares more about their looks than their sound and it shows, as their music is repetitive, soulless, and just plain awful.
not a fan of prog. my adhd simply cannot handle an 18 minute song. the shorter songs were more bearable but i just wanted it to be over
not bad at all, just not my type of music
never heard of this album or duo before. there was one song i didn’t mind (“the color of the fire”), some i absolutely hated (those unfortunately happened to be the longer ones), and the rest were so boring and sounded the same
so bland. not bad musically but i could never listen to this for fun there’s nothing interesting about it
i really like this album. great songwriting as always and has a nice mix of styles. “run that body down,” “everything put together falls apart,” and “me and julio” are my favorites.
i like nick drake, but this album isn’t my favorite. the instrumentals are peaceful but i find it boring overall.
sooo boring. there’s nothing interesting about this album, the drum machines are bad, and i don’t like his voice (or anything about his music really). and to top it all off the last song is nine minutes. nine painful minutes.
didn’t like this, the songs aren't great are kinda bland. overall not for me.
the music is good and definitely belongs on this list, but this album wasn’t really my thing so i don’t think i’d listen to it again. plus the first and last songs stretched on too long for me.
nothing terrible about this and i can see why so many artists have sampled it, but it’s really not for me. i wouldn’t listen again.
some of the songs were pretty okay, but i didn’t enjoy this album overall. a lot of the music i listen to could be considered strange/harsh, but i just don’t get the appeal of this.
this album is so creative. great lyrics and really shows the dead kennedys’ influence on the hardcore movement
this album was alright, it was a bit boring in places and i found some songs to be too sappy but besides that there’s nothing really bad about it. i don’t have a strong opinion.
pretty bad as i expected it to be. and his voice annoying
this album has good energy and was fun to listen to, but nothing i was super amazed by
i usually enjoy johnny cash, but i unfortunately don’t like this album.
amusing at some parts but overall pretty bad. for a short album it really seemed to drag on
this album isn’t bad, it’s just not anything special. i would probably enjoy it a couple of years ago, but not something i’d go for now.
good for studying. i wouldn’t just listen to this though so it gets a 2
some of their older stuff is really good, but this is not a pleasing sound. listening to this album also made me almost fall asleep, not saying that in a good way
this album is really fun. some songs felt slightly repetitive, but others make up for it. i’ll definitely listen to some of the songs again.
found myself tapping my foot along to a good number of songs. some were really cool. i liked houses in motion, crosseyed and painless, and born under punches, and once in a lifetime's a classic. others didn’t do much for me though. i’d say it’s between a 3 and a 4, but i’m feeling generous today
i’m not a big fan of the stones and i think they’re overrated. there’s two ok songs on here and the rest is eh and forgettable
i’m a big fan of punk but this wasn’t my favorite. one or two songs were okay but that’s about it
good for on hold/elevator music but bad for listening to for fun
i like a lot of sonic youth’s stuff but i don’t enjoy this album very much unfortunately.
not saying this album is bad, because it’s not, just saying that isn’t for me.
i was dreading listening to this based on some of the reviews but tried to go in with an open mind. my initial reaction was right though. this is bad.
so much talent but a little sappy and boring for my taste. superstition is soo good though.
one or two of the songs weren’t so bad, the rest was either disturbing (in a bad way) or rapey.
some of the songs are good, but i find morrissey’s voice pretty annoying in others. “that joke isn’t funny anymore” is my favorite on the album and since its so good i’ll bump it up to 3 stars.
not something i’d typically go for but i was pleasantly surprised. the drumming is fucking insane and the guitar was really impressive also. a couple songs kinda blended together and sounded the same. 3.5
i love “there she goes,” but the rest of the album is very disappointing.
first, fuck eric clapton. “strange brew” is a great song, and “sunshine of your love” is good too. i haven’t listened to this album in full before today, and the rest of it is kinda boring to me. two great songs but pretty overrated overall.
some parts of the instrumentals are kinda cool but overall this album isn’t that good. some songs really make me cringe and it’s really annoying how he says the same words/phrases over and over and over again.
this album is bad. not worth the hype
this album is soo boring and kept dragging on and on. i get that the man is super talented but this is not it i just wanted it to end.
not good and nothing special
