Ethereal, magical music. Listening to this album makes me believe in the mysterious and transcendent of life! Loved it!

Classic rock and roll album. You can hear the precursor to The Beach Boys. He was ahead of his time. It would be interesting to see what he would have become as a musician if he had not died so tragically young.

This album is a high concept, operatic album. It has complex harmonies, esoteric instruments and incredibly unique arrangements. It is a totally unique album. And Freddy Mercury’s vocals are absolutely amazing.

I enjoyed the minimalistic style of the music, as it seemed to really enhance the beats. But in the end I did not love this album.

The level of the musicianship is mind blowing. The music puts me into a sort of trance I enjoyed this album

With the exception of bring the pain, this was a collection of dreary beats an nonsensical verses. 2 stars for me

Vintage metal at its finest. It is cool to listen to the very beginnings of a genre, and the innovative riffs and rhythms that helped establish future musical projects.

Classic Willie Nelson. My gripe with the album is that it is very slow and full of ballads.

really enjoyed this album I recognized 2-3 songs that are classics--I simply had no idea they were from Dire Straights.
