Station To Station
David BowieLoved it! Chunky riffs, long songs. Moody and upbeat alternatingly. Golden years is on it which my arguably my favorite Bowie song

Never been a bob Dylan fan but it was very listenable and essential for hearing the influence on so many albums to come
I enjoyed the dynamic sound, the varied genres, and the stings. The vocals are beautiful also. However I found myself feeling bored, a lot of the songs seem really dated to me. Especially the blues revival song. It was nice for a listen but not my cup of tea
Perfect sunny road trip album! Rich with nostalgia, this album has a consistent, comforting sound. Some songs are standout, sing along, masterpieces and some fade into the background but it's very listenable and enjoyable the whole way through. Champagne Supernova is a rare example of a song that is overplayed but still takes my breath away when I hear it.
I feel like I have to be in a specific mood to listen to the first 3/4th of the album. The bass tone and the rhythm is really grooving. The last two songs were transcendently dreamy, however. A great fever dream feeling
I LOVE the In A Peaceful Way EP, one of my favorite albums of all time. This album however, while being obviously a masterpiece, just totally faded into the background for me. It didn't capture my attention.
Just learned where Neil Young got Trans from. Loved it! Neon Lights especially is a synth dream
A more striped down album, it seems he hasn't found his voice yet but I really enjoy the long painful droning songs with whiny guitar and jangly synth
Amazing concept album that brings me back to my high school years. It was nice to revisit it through this website but I also I desperately hope there are some more gender diverse albums coming up...
This album is so meaningful to me. Not every song is a banger but the songs that are are transcendent. Have you ever been experienced? Well I have
I haven't listened to Sinēad O'Connor besides the Prince cover, and I've always preferred Prince's version so I was absolutely blown away by how much I loved this album. The first album on this list that surprised me and I will absolutely be listening again and again. I wish I had found this as a younger, angstier self. The political anger and tough heartbreak lyrical themes speak to me on an empowered woman level. What a radical person. I loved the more moody and sultry string songs, the 90s super fuzzed guitar songs and the synth songs alike. I wish I had more than 5 stars.
Creepy fun clown EP, reminiscent of XTC with more ska elements. Very fun and great for dancing and being weird.
Definitely one of more challenging albums I've heard yet from this list. While I enjoy dynamic and busy songs, and I love the dark lyrical content, I probably won't listen to this one again. I appreciate its artistry but I don't particularly enjoy it.
Very cool beats, driving and funky. This reminds me of a more chill J Dillas Donuts. I think I'm learning that I have a harder time getting into music without lyrics in this process. This is rad but did not hold my attention
One of the most meaningful and most heard albums of my life. My grandma favorite album, she played it all the time. Everyone song is great, with some distinct beautiful outliers like Into the Mystic.
I get why this is on the list but, as a millenial, I am so so so bored of this sound. Mr bright side is absolutely the song of my generation but... It's overplayed for my life time
Not my thing. I found it pretty poppy, overproduced and uncompelling. But I love that there is another woman in this list, go queen.
A great mix of country of synth! Very fun and upbeat in an 80s way
Very fun and upbeat! Classic
I'm blown away by the b sides on the album. Absolutely chilling strings and interesting song structure. The synth pop songs are so fascinating. I thought I new what this album woud be based on the hits, which I LOVE, but the b sides are more interesting and maybe better? Hard to say because cloudbursting is one of my favorite songs
Playful and very fun. So riffy and funky, makes me wish I was older in the late 80s/ early 90s so I could enjoy the queer dances that were most likely happening to this album. Surprise 5 stars for me
My initial feelings are that this album would be amazing in a coffee shop. It makes me nostalgic for things I haven't experienced like new York, a jazz Christmas and jazz clubs in the 1950s. I love that they kept in the audience and things falling and rustling in the recording. The live record aspect really makes me feel like I was there, more so than any mtv unplugged. Her voice and band are incredible for being a live recording as well. However, I'm going to give it 3 stars because I probably won't ever listen again because jazz doesn't really hold my attention. It's me, not you lol
An easy and obvious 5 star album. The Beautiful Ones is one of my top favorite songs of all time. Purple Rain, Darling Nikki, Computer Blue, When Doves Cry?? This album is stacked
I love how nerdy the lyrics are! So rad to hear star trek references. The beats are soooo rad, they're low and meaty and very fun. It took me too long to get into wu-tang!
I will defend the first two Coldplay albums until my dying breath. I have consistently loved this album since middle school and it fills me with deep powerful nostalgic emotion.
I actually like the first couple dreamy songs but the rest of the album is boring tame impala wanna be indie man music trash.
So this is where Jonathan richman got it. Not really my thing. The white guy blues-rock doesn't speak to me, I've heard so much of It. I don't love his voice either.
