Also classic but in a different way.. it’s hard to appreciate Loretta Lynn and Anthrax without a palette cleanse. Still pretty efing good though.

This is a big old mess. Tolerable as it is a precursor to the masterpiece dark side of the moon. Chemically induced weirdness coupled with an impending psychotic break. Tough to get into while driving to work but everything has its place.

Lots of solid songs. Outstanding vocals, keys, guitar drums. Great lyrics..

Yeah it sounds a little corny but it’s authentic Bakersfield and like lots of music I suppose its an acquired taste. This is the genuine article and it is a significant step in the evolution of country and western and rock n roll. Lots of people don’t appreciate Little Richard but there’s no Prince or U2 or Van Halen without him. If you hate Buck Owens, U2,Prince and Van Halen…. You might be Johnny Rotten.
