1001 Albums Summary

Excellent.

Wasn't expecting to be into this one but I actually dug it. Will play this again.

Love Otis's voice. Hadn't heard this one before. Very nice.

This album reminds me of when I first moved to SF and had it on repeat.

Yeesh. This was a tough one to get through. Some of the music was cool but I just could not get past the vocals. 1.5 stars

Couldn't locate this album. Seems like it's a combination of multiple albums. Skipping this.

Strange album. A few fun 80s jams on here. The only song I knew was Relax, famous for being played when Derek Zoolander tried to kill the prime minister of Malaysia.

Son of a Preacher Man is a classic but none of the other tracks really stood out to me.

I really dig this style of music. I was listening to a track on here called Saudade Vem Correndo when I heard a part that was sampled in The Pharcyde's "Runnin'". Blew my mind.

Good one. I knew several of these tracks but didn't realize they were by Steely Dan. I think I might like this album better than Aja.

Fun 80s sounds (even though this came out in 1990). Would like to hear an instrumental version of this.
