Steely DanReally talented band but not in a massive rush to hear again. Good to find out where de la soul sample comes from. Once you notice lisp it's in foreground. 6/10
Really talented band but not in a massive rush to hear again. Good to find out where de la soul sample comes from. Once you notice lisp it's in foreground. 6/10
Enjoyable first listen. Couple of fillers
Nice chilled out album need to listen to again as I was in the gym. Not the right album for that but at the same time I didn't want to turn it off
Dad rock. Easy enough listen. Sone nice production
I appreciate the craft. She is talented no doubt. But of a lull early on after green light. I thought I world probably not listen to this again but towards the end I may give it another chance.
Funky heard about half 2/3 in the car. It's OK but not rushing to hear again.
I liked a lot of this. 7 out of 10 for me.
A good listen in the car. I liked what I heard will need to listen to it again
Decent pop punk. I've never heard the album but have heard every song. Music for people who think they're edgy to singalong to. 5/10
Nice listen will check again 7/10. Psychedelic grooves but sweet
Nice swingy easy to listen to . 6/10
Celtic not in my blood. But some crackers on this 7/10
Nice songs lovely harmonies. A bit boring on first listen some ok tunes plus I didn't know they sang everybody's talkin. Was hoping for a little more 6/10
Big beats a little dated at times. Sex pest vibes but done bangers 6.5/10
Some bangers at the start bit of a lull at the end. Will revisit 7.5/10
Listened to this in gym. Not the ideal soundtrack but enjoyed it more than I was expecting. Not in a rush to hear it again but can see the appeal. Felt b like I was in the fallout universe. 5/10
Epic sounding. Not a massive Metallica fan but side 1 sounded big and I was impressed. A few decent moments on side 2 but attention waned. 7/10
Decent funky rock. Some songs were a bit meh but good vibe with a small cameo from pe. 7/10
Can't be in a mood listening to koffi. Vibes are v strong can't understand the lyrics but he makes me feel everything's OK. 7/10
Heard before recently through this previously. I commented on not knowing I feel the earth move was CK. Wasn't in a rich to hear again.
Ok some songs dragged but they love prolonging a good riff. Heard a few of these before but the album has some good moments. 6/10
Alright bit mor not nothing really excited me. Some good moments and well crafted. 5/10
The man can holler really liked a lot of this. Short album too so I wasn't bored. 8/10
Liked this a lot. Heard most of the songs but really liked the album. Definitely will be buying 8.5/10
Really loved the first half of this. 2nd was decent but a bit more croony. Love their vocals especially lead singer. Thought after curtis Mayfield this may be left wanting. But no really liked it. 7.5/10
Weird how this turned up after watching a video on tik tok about the artist. Some good moments but not my jam. 5/10
My heart sank a little when Kate Bush came up. However, I was surprised with this. She sounds sweet, chivvy and mental. First half of album was confusingly brilliant at times. 7.5/10
Really talented band but not in a massive rush to hear again. Good to find out where de la soul sample comes from. Once you notice lisp it's in foreground. 6/10
First half singles 2nd half b sides. Some crackers on her. Heard before but was good to listen to again 7/10
I love the byrds although this isn't my favourite album it's still good. 7/10
I had to listen to this on poor man's you tube as it's not on Spotify. Maybe the constant adverts were a blessing as this is some crazy confusing music. They're all good musicians yet the thread of consistency is thin. I've discovered thrash jazz but not in a massive rush to hear it again. If someone gave this 1 star or 5 stars I couldn't argue. I listened to it when I went to the shops and forgot what I was going in for. A very interesting listen. 5/10
Kooky, decent but after listening to thrash jazz felt relatively normal. Rock lobster is a better tune than I remembered. Enjoyable listen but didn't grab me 6/10
Good start decent ish at end. Songs about pussy in middle meh. Production is strong. A lot of talking justifying album title, hip hop and "for her ladies" even though songs are about pleasing men. 6/10
Classic album some top tunes on here. I own the album. Would score higher but solo fret wanking and long drum solo kills the vibe for me. 8/10
Liked this. Album is a bit on the long side but not much filler. Will listen to it again. Impressive songs and musicianship 7.5/10
Quite apt to listen to this again deprived of sleep. Reminds me of first time I heard this album. Top 90s chilled d&b. Album is a bit long but a great album to lose yourself 7.5/10
Raw production but some good moments. Very cliche themes about Satan. Not a bad listen though 6/10
I really enjoyed this. Couple of filler songs but the first tune piqued my interest from the off. I will need to check more of these 7.5/10
Classic electro album from 90s. Still sounds fresh today. Heard it many times but good to hear again. 7.5/10
Hmmm there's some 80s party girls referenced in this album who are now grandmothers. Some decent moments but it reeks of rock bitch fury from 80s. Hasn't aged week 5/10
Heard this loads of times but was happy to listen to it again. Not quite a masterpiece but not far off. Iou is maybe the worst song but even that's decent. 8.5/10
Heard it a few times before. Trent us quite the edge lord but it's a good album. March of the pigs and gave me nostalgia for mtv2. 7/10
I enjoyed this album. Really liked the bass and percussion and vocals are smooth. A real foot tapper. Will listen to this again 8/10
Not for me. Obviously a great musician but not to my taste 4/10
Really good album. Heard it before years ago but really appreciated it more than I expected. Great collab with Eminem. Great production and flow 8/10
One of the first records I bought as a kid. Haven't heard it in years. Not as cheesy as I thought it would be even though title track is cringe. So be good songs sounds very 80s. 6/10
Decent enjoyed it more than I expected to. First 3 songs were bangers. Kind of dipped after that but some strong moments. 7/10
Some great songs and some average songs. Long album with a bit of padding. Heard it before as I'm a massive pixies fan. First 4 albums anyway. Good to hear it again. 7/10
Worth a listen. I liked the jazz sound. While listening I thought he sounded a bit like Kanye and then yesus appeared. Decent hip hop 6/10
A few year ago I would scoff at coldplay. But I've always liked this album and have grown to appreciate them more. There are some great songs in here. There are a couple of songs I would happily skip but yeah it's a strong album 7.5/10
Classic album. Some really good tunes. Whole album has a movie sound track feel. Got to be in the right mood to listen 7/10
Heard it before knew it was a 9/10 album. Any excuse to listen to it again. Marvelous.
First track I thought I was tired of hearing but I'm not. Good album overall, I wasn't blown away but will give it another go. 7/10
Yeah 90s whitexploition music. If shaft was from Manchester his ost would sound like this. Some good tunes but sounds early 90s 6/10
Can't help but listen to this with a smile. Didn't know what to expect but I had a foot tapping good time. I don't think I'll listen to this a lot but I hope tob remember to give it another go sometime. 7/10
As I get older I seem to be appreciating country music more. Beforehand I would have got bored of this after first couple of times. But I appreciated some of this album. I thought it was OK, but on first listen I didn't feel there was much depth ro this album. 6/10
Is this country or honky tonk either way in sure Ray was massive before the British invasion. Man can holler and croon. I found it a pleasant listen. 6/10
Production sounds a bit muddy but there are some really good moments on this album. Andy Bells guitar sounds really big at times despite the bass and drums sounding squashed. I thought the album was a bit on the long side, there are a couple of tracksthat are filler, but I will definitely listen to it again. 8/10
Dreamlike music. I really enjoyed this. 8/10
One of my favourite hip hop albums as it was one of the gateways into the genre. There is a bit of a lull in the middle but excursions is a great opener and scenario are superb bookends as the songs decline and improve again per track. Even the meh songs though are better than a lot of rap today. 8.5/10
Considering Nirvana is one of my all time faves I've never been a Foo Fighters fan. Even though Dave Grohl always seemed like the soundest guy in rock, it seems these days that's all an image that he projects and with the latest adultery and secret child, it seems apparent that all isn't as it seems. Anyway, back to the music. I've considered foo fighters to be dad rock for a while. However, I enjoyed this album more than I did in 95 when I first heard it. It sounds fresher and naive like a lot of good 90s music. There is some influences from other bands of the time. It doesn't sound as formulaic as more recent hits. 7/10
It' was background music to me but still pleasant to listen to. I'm not a massive fan of jazz but There were some moments that caught my attention. 6/10
Top tier stones. 8/10
Great album pop punk disco. Heard many times before but good to hear again 8/10
One of their better albums. A good selection of tunes. I've heard it a few times back in late 90s but kind of forgot about it. Good to give it another listen. 7/10
First half of album this man is in pain. 2nd half is a bop. Surprised that this is the guy who sang wanderer. Album was a bit too long but it's good 7/10
