Boston by Boston

Sheer Heart Attack and Killer Queen complement each other really well considering how they’re completely different Love the transition from Fotw into Lotv Stone Cold Crazy goes so hard. After that point though, it kinda drops off

Jul 22 2024

Not a huge fan of the first two tracks but it picks up from there The lyrics from GF in a coma are so sus and concerning Smiyttyhtob is a classic obviously I enjoyed Unhappy Birthday quite a lot Final track was good too

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Jul 23 2024

I liked the part where they start saying “a love supreme” 100 times right at the end of the first track, didn’t expect that Not the biggest fan of jazz but I like that it isn’t overly complicated or trying to be, it has a nice groove Good music to do nothing to, to think to, to do a random activity to Last track was real good!

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Jul 24 2024

Soooo good and mysterious and dark Love the first track Really liked the religious theming throughout

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Jul 26 2024

Beautiful album, no notes, perfect

Graceland by Paul Simon
Aug 04 2024

Started playing You Can Call Me Al while I was about to call my friend Al, 10/10 timing

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Aug 05 2024
Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Aug 06 2024

never actually listened to the combination of Broken and Head over Heels before now, I have a whole lot more appreciation for both songs as a singular entity now

Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow
Aug 07 2024

Twin Peaks sample on the outro track goes hard

Calenture by The Triffids
Aug 08 2024

Hmmm not sure how I feel about this one, feels like the deeply unserious soundtrack music you’d find on a cult classic, I can see myself enjoying this in a more ironic way that could circle back to being unironic but I just don’t think i’m into the music enough in the first place to want to listen to it much again I enjoyed the songs Blinder by the Hour and Vagabond Holes, everything else not so much

Southern Rock Opera by Drive-By Truckers
Aug 09 2024

Do you think they’re fans of Lynrd Skynrd? I actually really like the commentary on the culture of the south and heavy criticism on racism, definitely wasn’t expecting that. Not usually a fan of songs like it but Three Great Alabama Icons is a good example of that commentary Otherwise I feel a bit checked out and idk what’s happening in the story lol Interesting how the second a woman starts singing (Cassie’s Brother) the entire vibe becomes 10x cooler. Hmm🤔

Signing Off by UB40
Aug 14 2024

Just didn’t stick out to me

Wild Gift by X
Aug 15 2024

Really liked it but shoulda been like 10mins longer!!

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Aug 16 2024

Background music for when you’re walking through the city with somewhere you have to be. Otherwise really, really hard to sit through. Big respect to Ella though

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Aug 17 2024

rooaaaarr raaahh argh grrr graahhy (that was fun)

Cafe Bleu by The Style Council
Aug 25 2024

The definition of random shit mix. Like it’s genuinely the most random assortment of music I’ve ever heard on an album. It was ok but could not get into it at all lmao

Close To You by Carpenters
Aug 26 2024

Very comforting and nice to listen to. Also unexpectedly groovy in some places. Didn’t realise they had a Beatles cover on here too so that was interesting to hear. V funny how the Simpsons movie brought Close To You to another surge in popularity and introduced a lot of young people to it. Now most people associate it with the movie haha

Stephen Stills by Stephen Stills
Aug 28 2024

nice JoJo reference hahaha (This was alright but a bit too simple and yeehaw for me)

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Sep 02 2024

Makes me feel like I’m back at the ranch with my fellow gunslingers

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Sep 03 2024

Travelling from the ranch with my fellow gunslingers to the state prison to listen to some beautiful tunes late into the night
