An absolute masterpiece with plenty of bangers but damn listening to "Kim" is brutal.

who is this for? certainly not me. i've listened to background music more captivating than this.

at first i hated it, did not understand the wierd noises droning in my ears. but then "planet d" hit and something clicked and i started to feel inspired. all in all it is a decent album that lends itself to some background sounds that help daydreaming. if you leave out the first couple songs.

an absolute treat of an album. film noir on a disc. every track a wonderful piece of music.

i have noticed some of the bits, beats and pieces that have been resampled in other pieces, so credit where credit is due, it seemed like it was influential. But listening to it freshly today did not convince me of its legendary status.

it is not bad by a long shot. but what is it really? a collection of noise? an artsy project? the insane ramblings of a madman?

a decent and rather well done 80's album, that doesn't deserve all the hate.
