Pretty mind numbingly bad. I can’t wait for the day that I finally get an album that’s not electronic. Definitely not an album to choose when you just want to sit down and enjoy some music. Liked the beginning groovy sounds of A Sense of Rage but then of course it immediately got ruined by the ear searing repetitive nature of the album. At first liked State of Mind but then I saw that it was 7 min long, just unnecessary, like the majority of the album. Maybe I could handle this album if it was half the time and no songs were longer than 3 minutes.
Probably not something I’ll listen to again but definitely didn’t leave me disappointed. Nice and relaxing and a pretty good listen for the morning. Nothing that I hated about it but also nothing really stood out about it.
I normally like a nice rock album but this was not it for me. I’m usually more of a lyrics than sound person so listening to a 13 minute song with almost no lyrics at all is just not it for me. I did enjoy the sound of the album but when the songs are that long it gets old fast and starts to give the same feeling of listening to an electronic album.
Very easily enjoyable. Best album I’ve listened to in a while. Best track is Fairplay, so easy to dance around to. So close to giving it five stars, but some of the songs are just too long for me.
Just a classic. Quite nostalgic too cause Spoonman was always the go to on rock band
Probably not something I’ll go back to, but very good to have on for studying and chores.
So good! Been meaning to check them out for a while now but kept forgetting, I’m so glad I got this album, its just excellent
Kinda meh honestly. All the songs kind of sounded the same until the last track which I actually kind of liked.
Really wanted to like this because I usually do like a good punk album, but I just couldn’t. The drums were really good but I couldn’t get over the singing. I can see how this would’ve been an influential album though.
