Not my favorite sound, but some iconic songs.

Obviously an iconic album. So many incredible songs in one spot. But after the doc, I can’t help but feel like it’s all a creepy lie. Shame :/ Also it’s not his fault but a lot of these got overplayed so they aren’t as exciting.

Incredibly unique, amazing storytelling. I can’t believe I haven’t listened in full before. Truly one of the best albums of all time.

I really liked The Big Country. Such a funny song. I should probably relisten to the whole thing, but it felt very repetitive in terms of their sound. It’s iconic, but I feel like my favorite albums have more dynamic landscapes.

Loved the experimental synths, but not going to listen to a 22 min song. Super interesting though and I can see how other artists got inspiration from this album.

Pretty wonderful album wow. Cant believe this came out in 1993. The beats are incredible, the lyricism is next level.

This album came out two months after I was born. So ahead of its time full of mantric songs from the matrix like It Doesn’t Matter and Where Do I Begin. It had me fast walking on the way to work. I feel like I was able to be more open minded about them too because I’ve seen them live and I know how genius they are. Where electronic meets rock meets alternative. It’s giving you everything all at once.

This is actually a lot more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be. Christina Aguilera lived in my head as a semi-annoying pop icon. But these lyrics go deep. She talks about sexuality, being a woman, giving love to her fans. And the production quality is good. She definitely has insane vocal range.

Good vibe. Not something I would listen to all the time. But I added a couple of songs to my cooking in the evening playlist.

I like rap even but this wasn’t for me.

Solid, but really the best song on there is take me out and everyone knows it.

“I think the heart remains a child. Why don’t you love me?” Homegirl went through the worst breakup of her life and said, “take me to the studio. I have some things I need to get off my chest.” I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Very real, genuine emotions and things we’ve all been through. “Do you like being single, do you want me back? Do I like being single? Am I coming back?”

Diamon Life is incredible. I only knew Smooth Operator going into this, but after listening to the whole album, wow! Every single song is a hit! No one’s doing it like Sade.

Love is a losing game, tears dry on their own, and addicted were all new to me. How had I not listened to this whole album before? Amy, we didn’t deserve you. But we are so grateful you left us with your profound music.

Incredible album with no skips. Each song is distinct yet cohesive. No one is quite as cool as the White Stripes
