Getz/Gilberto
Stan GetzPerfect album. I will be listening again and again!
Perfect album. I will be listening again and again!
Incredible album. Stories with strong summer of love themes. Favorites: - Little Wing - If 6 Was 9 - You Got Me Floatin’ - One Rainy Wish - Bold as Love
Not my favorite sound, but some iconic songs.
Obviously an iconic album. So many incredible songs in one spot. But after the doc, I can’t help but feel like it’s all a creepy lie. Shame :/ Also it’s not his fault but a lot of these got overplayed so they aren’t as exciting.
Incredibly unique, amazing storytelling. I can’t believe I haven’t listened in full before. Truly one of the best albums of all time.
Lots of jazz. And I love jazz. But this jazz is a little stressful!
Good album! A lot of stuff sounded like the same song but it was groovy.
Definitely had some spunk to it, but not something that I'm going to be listening to on the regular.
I'm really loving this album. Realizing that Be Thankful For What You've Got is the original is huge. It's referenced so much. Great song! Groovy album - added a few to my Cookin' in the evening playlist.
Good album! I was jamming out to it at work and I enjoyed it.
Didn’t listen all the way through, it just wasn’t my style. Some good story telling though.
Racist ass first song. Not going to give this man any attention.
Not my style
Perfect album. I will be listening again and again!
Great album. Puts you in a whole other musical world.
Amazing album! Stevie wonder is that guy
I liked it! Big fan of the Kinks and their sound
I liked it! A little slow for me but his guitar picking is fun to listen to and it’s really calming.
Cute! Didnt know they sang so many classics
Incredible album! So many hits and the acoustics at the end are so unique to their originals.
Space and ocean sounds?
I get why she’s super popular, but her stuff isn’t for me. Some is cringe. Some is good that’s all I can say.
I liked it! Not sure how much I would listen to it on my own, but I enjoyed it for what it was.
Good! So Dad rock, but a classic album for sure.
Pretty good album! Not my fav, but a good vibe.
Incredible album wow!!!!!!!! I can't believe this is my first time listening to this. Maybe better than Dreams even? And has a song with my name in it? Perfection!
Good album! A good lesson to keep listening until the last song because I think that was my favorite
Incredible album! One of my favorites so far. So dynamic and a lovely listening experience.
I guess I’m a Zeppelin fan. I really enjoyed this album. I see why they are in the classics hall of fame.
I'm incredibly obsessed with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs! This album is incredible in it's very own way. A little different than Blitz! and so great
I really liked The Big Country. Such a funny song. I should probably relisten to the whole thing, but it felt very repetitive in terms of their sound. It’s iconic, but I feel like my favorite albums have more dynamic landscapes.
Really really love this album. Truly one of the greats! Rip Bowie
I don't think I really care for R+B
Loved the experimental synths, but not going to listen to a 22 min song. Super interesting though and I can see how other artists got inspiration from this album.
Pretty wonderful album wow. Cant believe this came out in 1993. The beats are incredible, the lyricism is next level.
This album came out two months after I was born. So ahead of its time full of mantric songs from the matrix like It Doesn’t Matter and Where Do I Begin. It had me fast walking on the way to work. I feel like I was able to be more open minded about them too because I’ve seen them live and I know how genius they are. Where electronic meets rock meets alternative. It’s giving you everything all at once.
Solid, but really the best song on there is take me out and everyone knows it.
