1001 Albums Summary

Never listened to a Dire Straits album before and a really regret it. This album mixes a few different genres really well and is super enjoyable all the way through. Could give it 5 stars on repeat listens but I’ll stick to 4 for now

What is there to say about this album that hasn’t already been said. It’s Abbey Road, the crowning achievement of The Beatles and my favourite album by them. Probably one of my favourite albums of all time.

Never heard this one before. Love the guitar work overall. Throughly enjoyable listen. 3 stars

Glam rock brilliance. That’s what this album is. Love Bowie and love this album. A few songs on the B-Side preventing it from getting 5 stars but it’s still amazing. Ziggy is better tho

Not nearly as good as it was when I was 14. Just seems like offensive for offensives sake and nothing else. Few good songs though. Two stars

Feels like a lot of other metal at the time. Still enjoyable though

Love The Last Shadow Puppets and I love Arctic Monkeys, so this was a nice surprise to have come up. Dare I say better than their other album

EDM is definitely not for me. Few good parts but mostly uninteresting

This was nice. Not amazing by any means but I’d never heard a Kinks album before.

Back half was a lot better than the front. Didn’t even feel like the beach boys at times. Good though
