That was pretty good.

Really liked this. Hadn’t given the kinks much time previously. But this was great.

Haven’t listened to this in decades… Lots of great songs. Some filler though.

Top 10 album of all time. It blew us away on first listen. It’s still so fresh sounding. It never gets old. It always hits hard. PE at the absolute top of any game.

It’s the Beatles. It can’t be anything less than 4 stars. It’s not my favourite Beatles album. But it’s still excellent.

ohhhhh boy. this is rough. the struggle was real to get through it. I did. but, why did I do it to myself. I did not enjoy any of it.

Everyone bad mouths light my fire. And they’re right to. It ends the album on a bad note for me. But the rest was great back in 94. And it’s still excellent today. It suffers only by not being mezzanine.

I always thought of smashing pumpkins as mor for the grunge years. that view still stands. not a bad indictment. some times it’s fantastic. but in the mail it’s all a bit middling.

as almost everyone says, the misogyny and homophobia were always a problem. but even more so today. the weirdest thing though is how disappointing the second half is. first half is good. second… not so much.

I’d deliberately ignored this for decades. I was keen to listen when it came up on my list. The song exploder with Lindsey Buckingham discussing go your own way was fantastic. And…. That and The Chain are the only high points for me. The rest was just middle of the road meh…
