A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield

Was okay. Some good songs. Not typically my sort of music but enjoyed it for what it was. 3/5

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Apr 15 2025

Listened. Cracking album. Where's my mind and and Bone Machine are good. Tapers off a little bit

Apr 16 2025

One of Eminem's best. Great featuring artists and story telling. Classics like Stan, Bitch Please II, The Real Slim Shady all hold up. Favourites off the album would be Amityville, Stan and Bitch Please II . Kim is a hard listen but finishes strong with Criminal. Album is a 9/10.

Purple Rain by Prince
Apr 17 2025

Good album overall. Good mix of genres and immense talent on show. Outside of the track Purple Rain, my favourites were The Beautiful Ones and Darling Nikki. I don't know how often I'll go back to this album however I respect it's place as a must listen to album.

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Apr 18 2025

A long album, with not all tracks hitting. I like their take on the bluesy stuff. Can really see how it influenced some of the later rock that came after it. Not sure how often I'll revisit this but glad I've listened to it as I have not given the Rolling Stones a proper listen.

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Apr 19 2025

Was okay. I like a lost of classic rock but I struggled to really engage with this. Couple of good tracks but overall quite forgettable

Arrival by ABBA
Apr 20 2025

Some good catchy songs. Not given a full Abba Album a listen before so good to experience it. Don't know how often I'll revisit but love a good boogie and sing a long when these classic tracks come on. 4/5

Brothers by The Black Keys
Apr 21 2025

A couple of stand out tracks but very similar sounding throughout. And a longer album so a lot starts to feel the same. Still brings back good memories and a good album but I'll give it a 3.

Rain Dogs by Tom Waits
Apr 23 2025

Not the type of album I've ever listened to genre wise before. Very interesting sounds. A couple of tracks I was vibing. I didn't hate it but equally didn't love it.

Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
Apr 24 2025

Very somber. Not something I'll repeat over and over but very outside my preferred genre of music. Was present and did enjoy it however.

Come Find Yourself by Fun Lovin' Criminals
Apr 25 2025

Enjoyed the start quite a bit. But got bored towards the end. Still a good album overall

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Apr 26 2025

Enjoyed it. Not given a whole beastie boys album a shot before. Some good songs. A little long and samey as a whole but not bad

Kimono My House by Sparks
Apr 27 2025

Very strange. Loved the range if vocals and so many sounds. Seems very unique for 1974. Lots of similar sounds to some of the bands I love across the 60s, 70s and 80s. One I think I will revisit for sure!

american dream by LCD Soundsystem
Apr 28 2025

Really enjoyable. Groovy, chaotic, beautiful. What's not to love. Would dance to this any day if the week

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Apr 29 2025

Enjoyed the Album more than I thought after the first track. Not my type of genre usually but I respect it and appreciate it. Was nice to have on in the background and made me stop and appreciate what I'm listening to a couple of times.

Inspiration Information by Shuggie Otis
Apr 30 2025

Really enjoyed this. A lot of psychedelic sounds but not overdone. Good mix of funk, soul and psychedelic I'd say. Saved a few songs for later listening. Was a good way to start my day!

May 01 2025

Fun album. More on the punkier side for me but still enjoyable. Good energy and catchy choruses . Still not as good as some of their other albums.

Casanova by The Divine Comedy
May 02 2025

Didn't really ever get better from the start. I can hear the great sound but all the different parts come together to just feel corny and boring. Not sure why this is on the list I could've done without hearing it to be fair.

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
May 03 2025

Quite nice to listen to in the background while I work. Very calming. I don't listen to enough classical/piano music so was worth being in the list.

Moby Grape by Moby Grape
May 04 2025

Not bad. Some great guitar playing. I quite liked the track Sitting By The Window. None to appreciate some older rock and roll. Touched on some good psychedelic elements I enjoyed.

Technique by New Order
May 05 2025

First track was great. It then went no where pretty quick. Some good tracks but nothing too exciting

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
May 06 2025

Was quite pleasant. Very chill and nice background music for working.

May 07 2025

Pretty good. As a fan of prodigy this definitely scratched that itch. Not really given Fatboy Slim a listen when it comes to albums. Just listened to him here and there. Will definitely listen to more in the future. 4/5

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
May 08 2025

Catchy and funky. Good album overall but a few misses on some tracks. Singers lyrics are always a bit weird. Overall an averagely good album. 3/5

Drunk by Thundercat
May 11 2025

E joyed the album. Good features. Some chill songs I quite enjoyed too. Overall pleasant experience 4/5

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
May 13 2025

Enjoyed it. Nothing crazy but had a few songs that left an impression. 3/5

Psychocandy by The Jesus And Mary Chain
May 14 2025

Tracks seems so similar and boring. The reverb is to much and I can't say I'm intrigued to listen to more of this band. 1/5

Great album! Each track brings something different sound wise but weaves a story throughout. Favourites include Brainwashed, Australia, and Shangri-La. Big fan of the Kinks and this style of early rock. 5/5

Boy In Da Corner by Dizzee Rascal
May 16 2025

Great album. Can kinda blend into the same sound sometimes but very good for a Frist album. Some classic bangers 3/5

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
May 17 2025

Was okay. Some good songs. Not typically my sort of music but enjoyed it for what it was. 3/5

Different Class by Pulp
May 22 2025

Not bad. Bit of blue knock-off but enjoyable

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
May 24 2025

Great album. One of Paul's best. Band on the run is obviously a classic. My other favourite is Let me Roll it. Will definitely be relisting to this

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
May 27 2025

Good album. Good intro into Michael Jackson. Not one of his stronger albums I'd say but still enjoyable

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
May 28 2025

Soulful, catchy, and beautiful. Great album . Weird that son of a preacher is on it twice ? But otherwise great album

May 30 2025

Loved it! Was nice to have on and helped keep me focused with work actually. Bit chaotic at times but other times hypnotising and rhythmic.very Jazzy 4/5

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
May 31 2025

Nice listening. Not a fan of it being a live album. I'm sure there's other studio albums that couldve been on the list 2/5

Debut by Björk
Jun 07 2025
Heroes by David Bowie
Jun 10 2025

Loved it. Never given this album a listen before. Always Ziggy stardust and that era of Bowie. Loved from the song Sense of Doubt onwards. Will be adding this to a more regular listen
