It's Blitz!
Yeah Yeah YeahsWas fine. Not bad but I was bored
Was fine. Not bad but I was bored
A fun bluesy time
Gorgeous album. And a lot of fun too. Some Joni Mitchell vibes
The one White Stripes album I listened to a lot as a teen. Not sure why I never got to the others, but this one is so fun
Big Bowie fan and this one is among my faves. Such fun songs
Beautiful voice and great charisma and the band plays real nice too
Another favorite Bowie album. Absolute masterpiece. Him and Brian Eno were really cooking
Very good and very soulful
Big fan of Can't Buy a Thrill and haven't explored much outside that so it was nice to listen to this one. It's no CBAT but it's still a good time
Very good!
Loud and brings the energy. Feel like I'd grow to love this one a lot with another 3-4 listens
Can see why Bob's a legend. There's some good tunes on here but didn't love them all but can see why it's good
A fun time inspired by classic rock and punk
Very disjointed. A lot of styles that change without rhyme or reason. None of it's bad but only a couple songs really stood out to me
Can see why this is important but wow it was not for me
Very funny very silly. Very 60s. Very Beatles. Almost as good as Sgt. Pepper's
A good folk album with one big hit and one novelty song.
A modern classic that will likely be tainted by its leader being a dick. But goddamn what an album
Very 90s. Pretty good. Can def see how they paved the way for bands like Anberlin a few years later
Discooooo. The first tune is one we've all heard and is a classic. The rest is real good EW&F vibes.
Is this art punk? The vibe I got was if Laurie Anderson had a punk band
A fun romp! The hits are some of the better tunes but there's some other good stuff here. Seems like really fun music to make (or see live)
Cool beats and a unique voice
A very cool 60s album I'm surprised I'd never heard of. Doors-y at times, Stones-y at others, and its own thing sometimes too. With a radical 19 minute closer
A certified classic! So many fun samples
Rock and roll
A few I really enjoyed but overall just another Bob Dylan record. Not sure if any will ever live up to Desire for me
A weird lil album! A bit of a Bowie with jazz situation
I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this! There's a song about dinosaurs (Walking in your Footsteps), a song about becoming a serial killer (Murder By Numbers), and a truly deranged song about the singer's relationship with his mother (Mother). What a delightfully weird time
Cowboy songs yeehaw! Some classics here and Marty is a master storyteller
In the top 3 for Bowie. What a cool album with so many amazing songs
Damon Albarn owes an awful lot to Bowie (a lot of artists do but some make it more obvious). Also didn't realize THAT song was by Blur or called Song 2. A fine record and a decent record, but I think I prefer Damon as a cartoon
I don't listen to enough metal to really know what's good and what's great but had a decent time with this one. Some real nice drumming. Would give 3.5 if that was an option
Nina is a legend and this collection of songs is grand and beautiful
Beautiful and strange and surprisingly danceable. Bjork has such a unique voice
Loud and not exactly my vibe but some good stuff
One of the all time great rock n roll albums
This was a weird one but I loved it
A certified classic full of bangers. One of the most important and well loved albums of the first quarter of this century
Rock and roll. A lil bit Bruce Springsteen, a lil bit Randy Newman, a tiny bit Elvis, and also a bit its own thing
There's nobody like Stevie Wonder
A fine folk album. Listened in my car on the way to work but it seems like more of a sit down and listen at home kind of album
