Teen Dream by Beach House

Nice surprise, and a genre I could not name before but will now discover more.

Solid Air by John Martyn
Aug 12 2025

Very chill album, jazzy at times but not in the (for me so far) annoying over the top freestyle. I like this.

Smash by The Offspring
Aug 13 2025
Marquee Moon by Television
Aug 14 2025

I like the vibe but struggle with the voice.

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Aug 15 2025

Familiar from when I was young. It has something recognizable and familiar to it, but outside the hit(s) I was never a ZZ Top fan. It is fun to hear the music though and not just focus on the cars and big beards like I did when I was a kid.

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Aug 17 2025

As a rock fan you cannot NOT like this album.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Aug 18 2025

Absolutely LOVE this album, and I mean pretty much every single song. Bought it when it came out, as I was already a big Pumpkins fan. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Aug 19 2025

Lovely album of the back extremely popular Kate Bush, in Europe. Very surprised it seems lesser known in the US / globally but I guess Stranger Things fixed that many decades later...

Brothers by The Black Keys
Aug 20 2025

It's surprising to learn I know pretty much all the songs on the album without ever listening to it as a whole. Witness to how many hits this album contains I'd say.

The Healer by John Lee Hooker
Aug 21 2025

When in the mood.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Aug 23 2025

Can appreciate it for what it is and represents, but Van Halen just isn't my cup of tea.

Rip It Up by Orange Juice
Aug 24 2025

The sound is familiar and kind of casual, in a way where it feels better than it holds up for me. Background music works, but several songs got on my nerves listening on headphones.

Achtung Baby by U2
Aug 25 2025

Extremely familiar album from when it came out. I cannot deny this is a great album, but I've perhaps heard it too much at this point.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Aug 26 2025
Fragile by Yes
Aug 27 2025

Some nice riffs and bridges showing great potential, but too clean for me. It lacks something and somehow that kills the vibe for me. That said, I would not be surprised if this influenced a whole lot of bands who built this into something much more raw, and I grew up on those bands.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Aug 28 2025

Cannot beat The Smiths. While certainly full of songs many will find depressing, and we all recognize Morrissey can be insufferable, it is just soothing and oh so familiar music that always delivers.

Teen Dream by Beach House
Aug 29 2025

Nice surprise, and a genre I could not name before but will now discover more.

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
Sep 01 2025

songs are great but I mostly know them through covers, which makes Bob's voice a little challenging at times.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Sep 02 2025
LP1 by FKA twigs
Sep 04 2025

Not for me, it is not something unique or special (to my ears) and I'm frankly confused as to why it is on this list. For other albums I did not like I could see the attraction or uniqueness, not for this one.

Medúlla by Björk
Sep 07 2025

I did not check if this was an earlier album, but I feel I can hear the basis developing for the known hits. However, being very familiar with many of the more popular songs this album just didn't do as much for me as I'd expected.

The Man Who by Travis
Sep 08 2025

Absolutely loved 'why does it always rain on me' when it came out. First time I listened to the whole album and I like it.

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem
Sep 14 2025

I still remember where I first heard "My Name Is". As a hip hop fan I was immediately sold.

Imagine by John Lennon
Sep 16 2025
Sister by Sonic Youth
