Nihilism, numbness, and Beach Boys. Wall’s good.
Sonically impressive and captivating, but not my jam.
A-side was a jam-and-a-half, was a whole vibe. B-side left me less enthusiastic.
Not really for me. Black Hole Sun will always be great, but all of the other songs just sound the same to me.
Have never actually listened to Queen’s catalog other than the hits. This was fun, different sound than I expected. You can hear where their sound went, mixed with like… I don’t know, Zeppelin influence? That’s probably a naïve take, but it was new to me. Neat stuff.
Had to do research to understand why this was included, which doesn’t feel like a great sign to me. Maybe just having a hard time appreciating the historical significance.
Just a fun album. Good sounds. You can see why the Beatles liked him.
I didn’t mind the backing tracks. But this was a hard listen.
This was the only CD I had in my car for a year during high school. Great memories of this album. Top 50 for me, probably.
Solid vibes. I don’t think I see myself listening to this all the time, but I’d definitely put it on the speakers while cleaning or doing something around the house
