Everything Must Go by Manic Street Preachers

Who are these funky white men leaving a jam in my ear!!

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Aug 25 2025

Thought Springsteen was a bit more country pop, but this album slowed things down. While I didn't love every song it made me feel like I was driving down a long motorway as the sun had just set (in a positive way)

Blackstar by David Bowie
Aug 26 2025

First 5 songs - could hardly get through listening to them Dollar days and I can't give everything away are the only two that I would be fine to listen to if someone put them on. I wouldn't be happy but unlike the first 5 I would not jump to immediately change the tune.

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Aug 27 2025

This album makes me feel like a 19 year old on halloween night who is getting ready to go out to the bars and club. I really liked the opening song "A Reflection", it felt like an introduction for what was to come. I already had "A Forest" liked but I really enjoyed At Night.

Bossanova by Pixies

IS SHE WEIRD? IS SHE WHITE? IS SHE PROMISED TO THE NIGHT

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Aug 30 2025

Some good ol' fashioned listening. Walking to work on a cool Saturday listening to this brings a smile to my face.

The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees

Decent

Solid Air by John Martyn
Sep 04 2025

Never heard of John Martyn before but god damn what easy listening this was. A near perfect album

Strange Cargo III by William Orbit
Sep 07 2025

What is this groovy tune I am listening to? Not normally my jam but feel like I'm in a bunch of Ratchet and Clank (2002).

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Sep 09 2025

I had never listened to Cream before, I will not be making that mistake again. This shit SLAPS.

Everything Must Go by Manic Street Preachers

Some songs in here I would listen to as a part of my daily playlists. Would I listen to the whole album on repeat often? No

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Sep 13 2025

Listen, I get it alright, Radiohead is a good band and they are influential. But this just ain't for me man.

Oedipus Schmoedipus by Barry Adamson
Sep 14 2025

Call me Neeman and throw a chair at my head because this album gave me whiplash. How do I rate an album that has some great chilled out beats while also having songs specifically made to trigger a panic attack?

Timeless by Goldie
Sep 15 2025

This made me feel like I was in a 90s commerical in all the wrong ways

I mean come on, it can only be 5 stars

Play by Moby
Oct 25 2025

The whole album was fine to me, nothing incredible. Except for Porcelain, that song deserves 5 stars on its own
