The Number Of The Beast
Iron MaidenI love Maiden…..but in very small doses. i.e. two songs max at a time. “Run to…. “ and “Number” are classic galloping, pantomime horror Maiden. The other tracks? No thanks.

I came to Nick Drake quite late through the radio 2 documentary in 2004, and have been a fan ever since. Not my favourite Drake album, but they’re all great so it’s still fantastic.
Love this album, constantly on in our house growing up courtesy of two older brothers. Off the wall and I can’t help it are my two favourite tracks. Also joint (Thriller) winner of the best album co-written by a bloke from Clerthorpes. 🤣
I had heard one track from this before but didn’t know the album. Glad I do know it now though. Wow, so good. ❤️
I quite like jazz but couldn’t name more than a couple of albums that I’d say were favourites. This though is definitely now on my list. Funk, blues, even a jazz drum solo track that doesn’t outstay its welcome. Love it
Would it be awful to say it’s quite pleasant? However, not anything I’d listen to again.
Apart from the 2 classic singles not really feeling this at all.
Quite enjoyed listening to this. Even went to check out the film, which wasn’t as crazy as I thought it would be.
Great album. “Sympathy…” and “Street fighting man” are two of my favourite Stones tracks. I think it was a real throwback to their blues roots which I love.
Enjoyed listening to it again, been quite a while since I’d listened to it as a whole. Jet on of my favourite Macca solo songs. Also one of my favourite album covers when I was a kid. I would stare at it for hours, it seemed so crazy all these famous people together. 🤦🏻♂️🤣
Love this era of music, and loved listening to this album. Fantastic stuff.
