Lady Stardust has a very similar sound and some lyrics with Young Americans

This is a a classic! The Boxer is one of my favorites. Nice to hear the rest of this album finally. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to the whole thing.

I see the artistic merit in this but it’s not my favorite. More performance art than purely music, which is ok!

I didn’t like this one. I couldn’t get into it and it seemed to be going out of its way to be weird.

Love this. I'm really into the soul/funk right now and this is just the perfect archtype of that. Sound is great and lyrics are deep

I liked this a lot more than I expected to. The lyrics and vocals do seem a little corny by today’s standards, but they would have been plenty edgy at the time. The music really holds up I think.

This was really good! Of course I have heard most of these songs, but I had never listened to this album in its entirety.

This was great. Love the “lo fi” sound and vibes of it.

Raw and original. I really liked most of these tracks.
