It seems Gen Z judges everything by vibes now, and the vibes I got from Blue Lines (which I’d never heard until now) are very chill. It’s music I wouldn’t mind listening to while working at a cafe, but honestly nothing stood out enough that I would reach for it to actually listen to regularly.

I’ve tried to like Wilco. They seem like they’d be nice? They love Chicago, I love Chicago. Apparently Jeff Tweedy gets migraines; a kindred spirit. The music, to me, is just very bleh, very dad rock.

I had the Singles soundtrack. That was enough grunge for me in the 90s. This wasn’t bad though; I enjoyed the sludgier songs more than the guitar solo-y stuff.
