1001 Albums Summary

I listen to maybe more than half of it and liked it, I added it to my library.

This is one of my favorite albums of all time already.

Very strong first half, really weak second half. I still enjoyed it, I think I had this cd back in the day.

I have never listened to this album, I really enjoyed it, pretty good to listen to while working

At first I thought this was just not for me, but it ended up winning me over. I will need to come back. This must be The Lonely Island’s biggest inspiration. Also, very cool to hear some Beatles in The Sounds of Science.

I’m starting to think that rating an album after hearing it once it’s too hard, so I listened to this twice. There’s something about Neil Young that gets to my soul. Overall really good songs, I particularly liked The Losing End

The Isley Brothers play really good music, it’s crazy that they started in the late 50s. Good album

It didn’t do anything for me. I liked Kim Gordon’s songs

I don’t understand why you would need to listen to this album before dying. I appreciate Paul Weller’s influence for britpop but I really didn’t like this at all.

I listened to this album 4 times in a row, it’s perfect

This album was a blast, all songs are extremely fun. I have a fond memory of a “Pictures of Home” cover in one of my music recitals when I was a kid, it was great then, it’s great now.
