Arrival by ABBA
Dec 17 2025

Great pop music. Helped by the fact that I knew all of the singles. 3.5/10

London Calling by The Clash
Dec 19 2025

I’ve never listened to this through before, but very familiar with many of the songs. Great singles, feels bloated on first listen, however I imagine it will massively grow on me

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Dec 20 2025

Great album , loved it when I was younger. Lilac wine is a banger. Very French feeling

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Dec 23 2025

Brilliant record, my favourite so far. Once again I’ve heard most of these songs but not in this order, I wasn’t aware of how stacked with hits this is.

The Slider by T. Rex
Dec 24 2025

Good album, will likely grow on me, but didn’t massively click on first listen though I can tell it’s a classic.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Dec 27 2025

One of my favourite albums, yet some how my least favourite Nick drake album. Unbelievably good singer songwriter.

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Dec 28 2025

My favourite Nick Drake record, a masterpiece.

Suede by Suede
Dec 31 2025

Brilliant. Hadn’t listened to this in at least 15 years, fantastic record

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Jan 03 2026

Very beautiful strings. I have always loved staralfur (life aquatic soundtrack), very reminiscent of Talk Talk at times. Good album

The Score by Fugees
Jan 06 2026

Great record, some top singles

Songs From A Room by Leonard Cohen
Jan 07 2026

Will have to come back to at some point. I loved the baroch aspects and will probably enjoy the album more as it grows on me. I love Cohen’s barritone

Idlewild by Everything But The Girl
Jan 09 2026
Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Jan 10 2026

Love this. Listened to my vinyl copy, but the band seems to be wearing out, strange to hear this much slowet

Low by David Bowie
Jan 16 2026

Amazing, Berlin trilogy are my favourite Bowie records

Parklife by Blur
Jan 17 2026

Brilliant album, haven’t listened to in years. Having previously been considered one of their weaker records I think it’s rightfully being reappraised as a masterpiece

In Our Heads by Hot Chip
Jan 18 2026

Alright, though not one of their better records on first listen

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Jan 21 2026

Great album, second to meat is murder only as far as I’m concerned

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
Jan 22 2026

I love this album. Need to listen to more riot girl (sp?), though I reckon this is the pinnacle of the genre.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Jan 24 2026

A great album. Good memories of seeing them before it came out, one of the better post punk revival bands.

Histoire De Melody Nelson by Serge Gainsbourg
Jan 29 2026

Amazing. Also melody is from Sunderland which is a great fact. One of my favourite albums

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Jan 31 2026

Really good. I’ve only ever heard the singles from this album, will need to listen to the soft bulletin next.

Isn't Anything by My Bloody Valentine
Feb 01 2026

Amazing album, I can imagine it was a revelation at the time, unlike anything before it. Overlooked in the shadow of loveless and mbv but such a brilliant debut.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Feb 03 2026

Really good album. I was only familiar with the title track before hand but really enjoyed it, stand out track was Sarah. Very dense record, will need multiple listens

Immigrés by Youssou N'Dour
Feb 04 2026

Brilliant. Need to expand my knowledge of west African pop. I love Fela and Songhuy Blues but there must be so much more out there. Interesting vocals, almost like the call to prayer or something, sets it apart from Nigerian music

Your Arsenal by Morrissey
Feb 12 2026

Never going to be as good as the smiths, but a good record nonetheless the less

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Feb 17 2026

Really lovely harmonies, great version of heard it through the grapevine
