I am surprised i haven’t listened to this live album before as i do love live recordings, especially now this one. It brings more cause since Kurt Cobain isn’t here tho us anymore so it feels more special. The covers were so good especially the David Bowie one, i will say this is one of the instances where the cover is better than the original (although the original is very good). And the band itself were playing so well with eachother, they compliment eachother so well it’s fascinating. One of the best unplugged performances, a great first listen, also enjoyed the acoustic version of something in the way. RIP Kurt Cobain
very good vocal performance
this is also another album i already listened to but i do say it is a great metal album, i can see how important this album and band is to basically the whole metal genre. Ozzy makes this album sound like your fighting vampires like dracula for some reason but it’s so epic. I also want to notice the song Planet Caravan, that song itches the brain like no other, it’s so trippy. The title track of course is good and Iron Man has to be my favorite track if we are being honest. Short Album but it feels like a nice journey. RIP OZZY OZZBOURNE 10/10
an album i finally haven’t listened to. this album just gives off just classic love since this is a 60s album. i could imagine myself listening to this if i was growing up in the 60s. honestly not too much to say except for this is the oldie love i like to hear. 8/10
I’ve been really interested in listening to Queens of the Stone Age since (no joke) they added a song in Fortnite and i was like wow this song is so catchy so i of course listened to songs for the deaf and just recently i listened to …Like Clockwork. But this one album is so so good as I thought this band was just your regular dad rock commercial music but no it it’s not. This is unique and i like the way this sounds. It doesn’t go too far off but it does its job. The intro song is such a good song it makes you just want to listen to the whole thing. I do like Mexicola and These Aren’t The Droids You’re Looking For. I would love to listen to more albums from the band. 8/10
Listen up everyone. This is my second Nina Simone album and as a guy myself this is such a classic piece first listen. this album just reminds me of grandmas cookies or something like that, it’s warm and comforting and i like that in an album. this is a perfect album to put on to dance with ur wife/husband in your comfort of your own house while it’s raining outside and the kids are playing in the rain. husd having a perfect family… okay let me lock in to the actual album. it’s good i love her vocals and i really do love the song lilac wine, wild is the wind and if i should love you. so so good her vocals are amazing and it’s old timey. 9/10
I Hate this album… Jusf kidding this album is famous for a reason. It’s just so classic, when i think of album i think of abbey road cause it’s so famous. This is the beatles in an album. I appreciate this album a lot since i grew up listening to it with my siblings and i could never escape it (not in a bad way). Come Together and Something hold a special place since i’ve always loved those songs even before really getting into music. Every member on this album does their thing so well it’s like a masterpiece group project. I’d imagine what it was like when it first came out, everyone must’ve been going crazy to hear this in the 60s. 10/10 OF COURSE
i’m going to be honest with you guys, i didn’t listen to this album i find AC/DC boring and i can’t find myself enjoying this one which is a hot take so im using my free pass to skip this one album but that’s it oka guys please understand.🙂
Yes this album is great, UNDERRATYED. I listened to it before but it got better with the 2nd listen. This album needs more love. This reminds me of the New York City and i love the jazz and drums included in this album, it kinda reminds of trip hop but jazz you know k think. It’s so soft and sweet to listen to, classic. los up lifter. The vibes are all there, every song is good i really can’t choose one song to talk about that’s all i have to say. 10/10 this album is underated and over shadowed by back to black. RIP AMY WINEHOUSE
An album i do not recognize for once, and its country so im actually excited to listen to it. The album cover brought me in, it’s so cool. I will admit that country isn’t really something i sit down and listen to that often but this album is actually good. This album reminds me of mexico and the midwest for some reason. If you listened to it before then i hope you know what im talking about. Some songs remind me of mexican songs with the some of the instruments that come up in songs. I’ve never heard of this album or guy ever and i would actually like to listen to more of this type of country. The lyrics are really good, the way he sings it makes it sound like we are in our front porch with a beer or two looking out in the distance (not a bad thing). For some reason i want to hear more of it because i just think of summer or spring after school at 3pm in the country side, just warm with the sun in your face while walking home from school exhausted from the day but the spring/summer breeze settling in as you walk through the countryside. I’ll give this a good 9/10
i’d hate to say this but i’m not really fond of this album, i’ve listened to slipknot before and i loved their music but i don’t know about this album. i can see why people like this album but im not saying its bad. there is songs that stand out to me like snuff, gehenna, psychosocial, sulfur and gematria. A whole entire hour is slipknot sounds epic but maybe i gotta relisten to it, ill definitely revisit this album soon. I do like the rough and grittiness of this album though, and snuff is a really great song.
i mean it’s micheal
jackson
i finally get a random album and this one was such a great album. here i am thinking it was going to be a typical blues album nothing out of the ordinary. so so good i really like the sounds of this album. i’d genuinely listen to this on my own, the intro song skunk was good, chicken dog, dynamite lover, hot shit, get over here and most of the album actually. i’m glad i heard about this album i’d listen to it again . needs more recognition and this will be a 10/10 but i need to listen to it more if im being honest. 8/10
this album came to me at a perfect time. as i am obsessed with electronic music fused with hip hop right now, this is such a vibe to listen to. i love the many tracks on this album and its unforgettable to listen to, so upbeat and i love the background vocals and also the rapping of course. massive attack is one of my favorite groups right now but stereo mcs may be up there now i am really interested to dive deeper into this group because it’s what i am looking for. my favorite track is chicken shake, the female vocalists is like soap to my ears if that makes sense. kind of off topic but the album cover is so cool to look at it resembles the album in its entirety. is this website stalking me or what??? anyway this is such a good summer night album, even a nice spring afternoon, drinking a cold sprite or something. i’ll give this a nice 8/10
holy smokes how come i’ve never took the time to listen to this. this might be the first 10/10 album ive rated and it takes a good amount to be a 10/10. this album is so beautiful, i can describe it as a snowy night in the city with your lover at night. first off, frank sinatras voice is so calming and a classic. the instrumentals is so calm and cozy just like cookies and milk and a fire place in the background crackling. this came out in the 50s!! was there a baby boom back in the 50s bc of thi album?? i listened to this in the wee small hours by the way. but wow man i never felt this way about an album in a good time im glad i listened to this. its so gosh darn calming i want more of this. every song fits perfectly in this album, every song is flawless, there’s not a singular thing wrong with this. to think that this came out in the 50s was outstanding. i love every song on it, can’t choose a favorite one. and you could tell that these songs were made with so much love, it’s made with a lot of love that im feeling loved right now. anyway im obviously giving this a 10/10, reminds me of the old disney films which is a good thing.
I gotta listen to it i forgot 😅😅
it’s like this website is listening to me because this album is a masterpiece on first listen??? trip hop with rock with electronic music man i LOVE this. some of the songs on the album itch your brain so good. this is a must listen with headphones (specifically wired ones) the first track is a perfect intro song, it settles the vibe of the album and it pulls you in to listen to the album. star was tickling my ear drums. this album is like being on drugs or LSD cause it sounds just like that. the ending on stuka with it going from one earbud to the other was so trippy. it made me feel like that one purple alien from home. trainspotting is a perfect instrumental song it’s so well done, i don’t know how to explain it but all the instruments go so well together i hear everything. going through a jungle while being on LSD?? but jokes aside wow this is so well made im going to give this a 9/10!!
i couldn’t get the raw experience of listening to this in raw leather jackets and spiky hair but my wifi was terrible during this album so it kept skipping songs and the songs were cutting out so k had to relisten to a few of them. but this album made me feel likes true bad boy or a greaser. is that stereotypical?? anyways i’ve listened to the clash before and i love their london calling album, i go for any type of punk to be honest. this album is really upbeat and uplifting but very rebellious. bart simpson….. i don’t have any stand outs but to say this is a classic punk album and i need to grease and slick my hair back, although the drums hit hard, i like police & thieves (the song)
Ok i will give this 3 stars, 7/10
wait what i don’t wanna destroy rock and roll wait dont do that no no nooo.!!!!!! this album was pretty danceable but i didn’t dance as i was playing animal crossing while this was going on in the back but i did like the beats and it was upbeat. it was a house album im sssuming but i liked it. i gotta get into house music as the only house music artist i listen to is deadmau5 but i like this album tho especially the last track. this one track stood out to me and they mentioned a lot of artists pretty cool t track. 7/10
YOOOOOOOO THIS ALBUM IS ACTUSLLY FREAKJNG HEAT MY MANZ NAHHH 2 2 WORD TO MY LIFE THIS ALBUM IS GOOD. in all seriousness though, this album is good and i wasn’t expecting it to be as good as i thought it was. i was just expecting regular rock music with the occasion of every breath you take but wow man. the intro blew me away and its like this album has a variety of tracks to listen to and i love that. every song sounds different and you aren’t expecting what’s coming next. for the “every breath you take” album, i wasn’t actually just listening to this album just for the sake of the hit song, i was listening to it for every song and for the first listen?? imagine how good this album gets with more listens. this is definitely an album i’ll listen to more and more as time goes and goes. the last half of the album was such a vibe i just want to mention that. 10/10
1:13 that piano 🔥. This album made me feel like i was walking through a muesuemd or something. Idk if i would listen to this on its own, probably a study album as it’s very piano like. I love the piano though it’s very intricate and beautifully played idk how else to explain this album but it’s a sit down and listen to some piano playing. Not really my thing but i’d listen to it probably in the future if i love pianos
it’s about time we get this album.
LETME SAY THIS FIRST THIS ALVUM ISMAGNIFICENT IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. The Goddamn intro song pulls you in like nothing and it’s an amazing start to the album. The LYRICISM is top tier. The storytelling?? The emotion in the songs? especially like u. This album has so many hits, songs to dance to, to think to, to cry to, to have a crisis to and more. Amazing production, thundercat does his thing PERFECTLY. This album is acclaimed to be the best rap album ever and i can see why. The premise around this album is about systemic racism, survivors guilt and the exploitation of black artists in the industry and this album brings justice to it. that’s why it’s so good, the album name being to pimp a butterfly is meaning of growing from a caterpillar to a butterfly (maturing). Of course i’ve listened to this before but this album has been with be since it came out to be honest. This album has #1 on RYM and i think AOTY. EVEN OBAMA SAYS IT GREAT. This album also won a grammy for best rap album of the year. To be a rapper to release 3 classics in a row is rare. Kendrick deserves any award he wins. Nothing to say wrong about this album honestly. it’s good to dissect the lyrics to this album too but i’m done with my review this album is obviously perfect km glad i got this opportunity to relisten. Before go i want to mention Mortal Man, what a song “when shit hits the fan, are you still a fan??”And the fact that when the album ends it just leaves you in shock, how could it just end ??
11/10
I forgot to listen but i’ll update this ojay

okay i actually listened to this album and i would say this is a great folk/folktronica album i love it a lot. it’s so warming but specifically winter warming if you know what i mean. it reminds of me of carole kings tapestry with a little bit of PJ harvey and it turns out well. i love the folk aspects of this album and the tronica aspects. i need to listen to more of this to be honest the whole album is great. 8/10
IT JUST CELETED MY WHOLE ENTITE REVIEW BROOOOOOOOOO. 10/10 tho but i said how this album was my favorite micheal album of all time and shout out i cant help it
I surprisingly listened to this before and it just makes me feel like i’m in a cafe in paris. Crossaint and Bread. but i do not understand a lick of french i did enjoy the album and the instrumentals. I cant really speak on the lyrics…. Im pretty sure it’s a story about a lady named Melody Nelson and it’s very beautiful. French is a beautiful language i will say but i have nothing else to say but a 8/10
JAMAICAN TRIP HOP??????? YESSSSSSSSSA. I would’ve never found about Jamaican Trip hop until this site. I love this mix
of sounds, reggae, trip hop and downtempo it mixes all of the chillest vibes and puts it into this one album. perfect album to get high too if i’m being honest. i found myself head bopping throughout the whole album its just so satisfying these sounds, all of the sounds play it’s perfect parts. It’s so so so cool i want more yyssss ussss okay 9/10
Okay This album has one of my favorite songs ever and it’s of course sparks. Some people call this Walmart Radiohead, they have a name😢. I love Chris Martins voice a lot and i just wanna mention his feature on Kanye West’s Graduation (Kanye not ye)And he does his part so well that i couldn’t wait to relisten to this album. First off everytime i think of cold play i immediately think of the affair caught on camera, like how could you get caught like that😭.This album is perfect for rainy days i mean it’s so mellow and calming to me especially sparks. I do see the same formula used for some of these songs but atleast it’s good to listen to. I don’t find myself a music critic although i do listen to music i only rate it a certain score if i actually enjoy the album and liked it and this album is just one of them. for some reason i thought this album was made in like the early 2010s or late 2000s. no it was made in the year 2000?? i didn’t know they were here for 26 years its crazy to think of. and for their debut album to be this good is insane. look at the stars look how they shine for youuuu, another one of my favorite songs aswell. if i were a smoker id smoke to this whole album. in all seriousness the impact tho album has on me isn’t really big but its been with me growing up, just listening to yellow or sparks or even the whole album. this album has meaning. peak song writing as well. the song trouble is beautiful, matter of fact THE WHOLE ALBUM IS. one down side is that i don’t see myself really listening to this in the future unfortunately but i would listen to it here and there and you know i love a classic sad album but i don’t know if i would give it 5 stars but 4 stars is good . nevermind i change my mind its a 10/10 i love the vibe of this album its there 5 stars
I DIDNT SAVE YHIS GODDAMN LONG ASS REVIRW ARE U KDIDIJ F MEEE DJIEJS SHAVAJ
I DIDNT SAVE YHIS GODDAMN LONG ASS REVIRW ARE U KDIDIJ F MEEE DJIEJS SHAVAJ
i love this album already first listen. this hits harder especially when ur a hispanic. i want to say this album reminds me of the latin supermarkets i’ve grown up going to with my mom and dad all the time. these types of songs are always playing in the background and it’s just classic. i’ve come back to my roots with this album. the percussion, the instruments are always going to hit when it comes to this type of music. and i love the fact that music like this are still being played everywhere. it’s timeless music.
dude this album FUCKINGGG RIPPSSSSS. me personally i am a big korn fan so i feel like this will be a biased review but who cares it’s my review. this is a nu metal classic, korn is in their prime by this album and it’s just perfect. i want to talk about the bass, it’s so crunchy and so addicting to listen to. the way each song transitions to each other is so seamless, from its on! to freak on the leash. first of all let’s talk about freak on the leash, it’s so hauntingly good. dare i say it’s kind of a sexy song?? no okay. anyway got the life is good and it gets you up and stuff, i’m a skip to children of the korn and that song just wants me to get up and get active, it’s such a perfect blend between rap and metal hence nu metal but the ice cube feature is so perfect i don’t care what anyone says. i will say ice cube is so perfect for any type of nu metal music. (korn also covered one of his songs “wicked” also with frontman of deftones chino moreno). B.B.K is one helluva song. again the bass is so good it’s rips. it’s the main instrument of the song basically but this songs ur korn song i mean who else can make this song but korn. and the little pitch noise through out the song adds to the grittiness of the song. ima mention the guitar too as it echoes throughout the song, there’s a slight mellow part then it just rips into the most epic guitar you will hear. and then jonathan davis nonsense of words. the drums are also flawless… OF COURSE I HAVE TO MENTION ALL IN THE FAMILY FEATURING LIMP BIZKIT FRONTMAN FRED DURST. it’s so catchy, i love the dynamic both jonathan and fred have in the song. they are just fucking with each other and i love to hear it. but i do wanna talk about how the topics talked in the more serious songs are meant to be taken serious and the lyrics are devastating. it’s dark and jonathan and the band does their thing to partake in the more serious songs. korn are most known for their more darker songs and they tend to get disturbing but it’s poetry in music form. it’s really good, this albums a classic. 10/10
SUCH AN AMAZING ALBUM CLASSIC ALRWADY. This album was so unique when it came out in the 80s. This album is so good, it’s one of those albums that’s underrated with a big hit. (for example hot fuss by the killers with mr brightside). first of all the intro song is actually amazing besides it being the stranger things song. listening to this album is a whole outeorld experience. i don’t kno why but it’s like running through clouds. i love her voice too, it’s so perfect with the production. th use of the instruments use of everything. everything is so sparkly in this album, this album is th world beautiful. she needs to be talked about more, her discography is amazing. an obvious classic
Wait am I a NY Doll? the name fits the band so well but it’s just regular glam rock music not my thing but it’s fun to listen to
i OF COURSE already listened to this amazing album and i got to say, it’s one of a kind. Every song hits on this album alright, EVEN THE ALBUM COVER. Coolest Album Cover ever in my opinion. This is one of the greatest debut albums ever. For this to be their first album baffles me. Eddie Vedder says stuff in English and i don’t believe it’s english at all. I don’t know what he’s saying half of the time but it just hits you in the gut. The lyrics are amazigly written. And i just want to talk about how after Once, Even flow just hits you in the face. the songs famous for a reason i mean it’s actually good, shoutout steven flowe. they are timeless. it’s also emotional, amazing song Black. So good. it’s so raw it just makes me upset everytime this song comes on. eddie just spilled out his personal stuff onto this song and made it an amazing ballad. may be the best song on the album IN NY OPINION. And the story of jeremy is upsetting and shocking, i didn’t know it was even about that but i can appreciate the song. this album has epic songs but some songs are just so emotionally charged with its lyrics and i love it. this album is a great debut and is obviously a 10/10
this album to me is bland (hot take?) i don’t know its like im listening to the same song with different lyrics each time. i found myself just waiting for this album to be over. i understand it’s important in the history of rock but then again it was probably groundbreaking when it came out. not my type of rock kind of boring.
i love the sound of this album. everything is so smooth and so buttery and well put together. if i imagine this album as a person it’s a well spoken person, with good fashion sense and clear skin. her voice slides so well with the beats especially on didn’t cha know. this album is intimate as well, put it on and the atmosphere is charged. so relaxing i love how everything fits so well together. i want to talk about the track orange moon. this songs so inimitage it’s like she’s singing in the background outside my window during the summer. if you noticed there’s like crickets chirping outside and it sounds like it’s a late summer night. so ethereal. i also love the imagery she uses in this song to describe love and self discovery. the sun lights illuminates one’s true self and beauty. such a wonderful album worth a listen.
finally a david bowie album. i’ve been getting into david bowie as of late and he’s so amazing. but we are going to talk about this album young americans. it’s really soulful if i could say. it leans more into more rock/ jazz aspects of music or soul you could say. and he does this so well i love this album, it also has one of my favorite bowie tracks “win” he did his thing with it. it’s a short album but it packs a punch, you could just put this on and dance. i haven’t really seen anyone talk about this and it needs more recognition. this album is now on rotation for me and i just want to say david bowie was one of the most artistic and creative and influential artists of all time, he did everything and wasn’t afraid to experiment on his music. this album is a 10/10
i’ve known nico but only by her vocals on the velvet underground and nico album. i loved that album and her voice on it especially on femme fatale. but on this album i get more of her vocals and i love it. it’s hauntingly beautiful, this album is great. i just saw that bob dylan wrote i’ll keep it mine and for some reason this reminds me of some of bob dylan’s work. it sukcs that some of the strings arrangement wasn’t part of nico’s plan and her team just ignored nico’s ideas. she was dissatisfied with th flutes and strings but they still went ahead and kept it on some of the songs which sucks . but i would say that the songs are still good, it’s a very folksy vibe that i like to hear. i have a special interest in these type of music and im glad i got the opportunity to listen to this album.
