Sound of my childhood. Amazing record, maybe 4 all time great tracks on there. Gets a little samey towards the end but amazing music and production, very distinctive sound.

Kinda boring honestly. Opening song was ok but very long. Not on the same level as other Bowie albums. Might have been the cocaine.

Very good. Really nice feel all the way through, easy to listen to and doesn’t take a lot of thought, can just switch off and be in it. Love the second track. Great for background music.

Killer, knew every song, has to be one of the most well known albums on earth. Love the early Beatles sound

Early Elvis with the early Elvis sound. Lots of paper thin lyrics but Elvis is bigger than the songs

Very chill but iconic jazz. Feels like listening to every cool movie hotel bar scene ever

Wasn’t a big fan when it came out, overplayed for me. A couple of big tracks but I don’t like the sound

Another big album from dr John, can really see the tightness of the band when they play live

Seems quite common now but this was a very different sound when released. Some huge tracks on there, could do without the late 90s/00s “skits” on every track though

Another album from my youth. More scattergun than I remember witha huge array of song styles. Not all hit but you can see why so many bands were influenced by them

It’s wild stylistically. Quite ambient and relaxed but also super jarring. I loved it, wife hated it. Feel like bjork is a bit like high fashion, not super practical but influences a lot of others

Every song recognisable and kind of a banger, although due to the overplayed nature of this album it now sounds like a giant iron man promo
