Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Feb 05 2026

Solid classic. Would / should listen to again.

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Feb 07 2026

Strong start, just classic Dolly. Some under the radar bangers in here. Really great album.

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Feb 08 2026

Just not my vibe. Too grating for me. "Where is My Mind?" is a classic but the rest of it is just noise. Can't take the vocals, despite some sick riffs and cool drums.

Queen II by Queen
Feb 09 2026

Very rock-opera-y. Good production, some fun riffs, great vocals. Some good deep cuts but no bangers until Seven Seas of Rhye (fucking banger)

More Specials by The Specials
Feb 11 2026

Kinda wild reggae vibes here. Lotta noise. First half of the album in particular is not for me. But we jammin. Not hugely into the vocals (seems like a variety of singers). Kinda got that Talking Heads vibe, vocally. Some catchy songs tho (Hey Little Rich Girl, Do Nothing). Holiday Fortnight is a vibe. I would give this a 2.5 if poss.

Feb 13 2026

Extremely not my vibe. Some rocking bass lines but it's just layers and layers of noise that is not entirely pleasant to listen to (at least not while sober)

Court And Spark by Joni Mitchell
Feb 14 2026

Classic Joni. There are some bangers on here, including some deep cuts. Great voice, probably easier listening than some of her other albums as well. A bit more up beat in places. Throwing it in my Joni rotation.

Heroes by David Bowie
Feb 15 2026

Also not really my thing.

Kenya by Machito
Feb 18 2026

Very close to giving this a four, I'm glad I discovered it, great music to work to. Some songs slap more than others but overall great beats and an enjoyable listen.

The Hour Of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy
Feb 19 2026

Had literally never heard of this band or album before but I quite enjoyed it. Pretty diverse, got a little weird at times, but overall would re-listen. Didn't even pay attention to the lyrics.

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Feb 21 2026

I know this gets rated as like GOAT albums but it's just a bit much for me. Not really my style. Some stuff I like, other stuff is just alright.

The Doors by The Doors
Feb 22 2026

Some bangers, more diverse than I thought, not a huge synth jam guy but good stuff.

Live At The Star Club, Hamburg by Jerry Lee Lewis
Feb 23 2026

Another "3.5" but giving it a 4 – rocking and rolling, really enjoyed a lot of the songs. Energy is straight electric. Is he ripping of lil richard or is lil richard ripping him off? I'm not sure. Ignoring the incest / pedo-ness of him, though

Murmur by R.E.M.
Feb 25 2026

Would actually tend towards a 4 but I'm setting a high bar. Good replayability, easy to listen to. 3.5.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Feb 28 2026

Not my fav RHCP album but some absolutely slamming bass lines and guitar riffs. Classics on here for sure. Not big into the heavier/noisier stuff but can appreciate it. IMO a pretty diverse album too.

Abraxas by Santana
Mar 01 2026

Used to listen to this all the time. Honestly giving it my first 5 star of the project. Slaps, diverse, english, spanish, great guitars, great percussion. Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va, Mother's Daughter, Hope you're Feeling Better.....I mean wow.

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Mar 02 2026

Had never listened to this album front to back but knew many of the songs. Strong strong band, some classics.

All Directions by The Temptations
Mar 03 2026

I was not familiar with your game, and I apologize. Really deep breadth of music in here. Not just "my girl" type shit.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Mar 04 2026

Love this bayou southern blues rock stuff. A bit samey, but some bangers. Iconic voice.

Mar 05 2026

Pretty fun, a ltitle long, not my fav era of rap. Can appreciate it tho

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Mar 06 2026

Some absolute bangers. Fast Car is timeless. Some solid social commentary in there too. Just a really unique voice and great album. Maybe I'm being harsh not giving it 5 stars.

Pretenders by Pretenders
Mar 07 2026

2.5? 2 is a little harsh. But a low three for sure

Meat Puppets II by Meat Puppets
Mar 08 2026

Some funky af riffs. Voice is whatever but it's got that angsty punk vibe. Some really catchy stuff, I regret skipping this for so long.

Synchronicity by The Police
Mar 09 2026

a few classics, some noise, it's all good. don't have the heart to give it a 3 so i'll give it a 4

Blur by Blur
Mar 11 2026

First half of the album extremely strong but drops off on the back half IMO. but first half is better than the oasis album i rated so i have to also give it a 4. has some bangers but also some duds at the end

Orbital 2 by Orbital
Mar 12 2026

do not have the patience for this, almost turned it off, dabbled in some of the more favorited songs in spotify to avoid giving it a 1 outright

Harvest by Neil Young
Mar 14 2026

I'm giving it a 5, there are 1-2 songs I don't love (man needs a maid) but there are so many classics. Easy listening, great repeatability.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Mar 18 2026
Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Mar 25 2026

Doesn’t deserve a 5 but I’m giving is. Peak yacht rock. What a vibe.

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Apr 14 2026

Standard, enjoyable Miles. Not much of the experimental hard to listen to stuff. Great work/background music.

Apr 18 2026

A bit whiny. Jesus Etc slaps. Don’t love the ambient stuff. 3.5, giving it a 3

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Apr 23 2026

Really strong album, probably deserves a more critical listen but if nothing else is great to just vibe to. Might be worth a 5 tbh.

Car Wheels On A Gravel Road by Lucinda Williams
Apr 24 2026

Probably realistically a 3.5 for me. Some really strong songs and some others that are just bang average. A little same-y

Ten by Pearl Jam
Apr 28 2026

3.5 maybe, some 90s classics but honestly just not my favorite vibe

May 01 2026

Full of Coldplay classics. They're a bit of a meme, but this is a really strong album.

Be by Common
May 02 2026

Standard, quality stuff. Some bangers, great easy listening. Gonna give it a 4, but 4.5 might be more appropriate? Maybe I'm being harsh not giving it a 5. I love the jazz hip hop vibe so much.

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
May 08 2026

easy background music. girl from ipanema is iconic. 4 seems too high, 3 too low. but going three.

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
May 11 2026
