Solid classic. Would / should listen to again.
Strong start, just classic Dolly. Some under the radar bangers in here. Really great album.
Just not my vibe. Too grating for me. "Where is My Mind?" is a classic but the rest of it is just noise. Can't take the vocals, despite some sick riffs and cool drums.
Very rock-opera-y. Good production, some fun riffs, great vocals. Some good deep cuts but no bangers until Seven Seas of Rhye (fucking banger)
Kinda wild reggae vibes here. Lotta noise. First half of the album in particular is not for me. But we jammin. Not hugely into the vocals (seems like a variety of singers). Kinda got that Talking Heads vibe, vocally. Some catchy songs tho (Hey Little Rich Girl, Do Nothing). Holiday Fortnight is a vibe. I would give this a 2.5 if poss.
Gotta be on drugs in the 80s.
Extremely not my vibe. Some rocking bass lines but it's just layers and layers of noise that is not entirely pleasant to listen to (at least not while sober)
Classic Joni. There are some bangers on here, including some deep cuts. Great voice, probably easier listening than some of her other albums as well. A bit more up beat in places. Throwing it in my Joni rotation.
Also not really my thing.
Pleasant, girl from Ipanema is a classic, wish there was more Jobim. Gets a little samey. Great background music (not in a bad way)
Very close to giving this a four, I'm glad I discovered it, great music to work to. Some songs slap more than others but overall great beats and an enjoyable listen.
Had literally never heard of this band or album before but I quite enjoyed it. Pretty diverse, got a little weird at times, but overall would re-listen. Didn't even pay attention to the lyrics.
Haunting, spooky, great listening.
I know this gets rated as like GOAT albums but it's just a bit much for me. Not really my style. Some stuff I like, other stuff is just alright.
Some bangers, more diverse than I thought, not a huge synth jam guy but good stuff.
Another "3.5" but giving it a 4 – rocking and rolling, really enjoyed a lot of the songs. Energy is straight electric. Is he ripping of lil richard or is lil richard ripping him off? I'm not sure. Ignoring the incest / pedo-ness of him, though
Would actually tend towards a 4 but I'm setting a high bar. Good replayability, easy to listen to. 3.5.
Not my fav RHCP album but some absolutely slamming bass lines and guitar riffs. Classics on here for sure. Not big into the heavier/noisier stuff but can appreciate it. IMO a pretty diverse album too.
Used to listen to this all the time. Honestly giving it my first 5 star of the project. Slaps, diverse, english, spanish, great guitars, great percussion. Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va, Mother's Daughter, Hope you're Feeling Better.....I mean wow.
Had never listened to this album front to back but knew many of the songs. Strong strong band, some classics.
I was not familiar with your game, and I apologize. Really deep breadth of music in here. Not just "my girl" type shit.
Love this bayou southern blues rock stuff. A bit samey, but some bangers. Iconic voice.
Pretty fun, a ltitle long, not my fav era of rap. Can appreciate it tho
Some absolute bangers. Fast Car is timeless. Some solid social commentary in there too. Just a really unique voice and great album. Maybe I'm being harsh not giving it 5 stars.
a few classics, some noise, it's all good. don't have the heart to give it a 3 so i'll give it a 4
