Is This It by The Strokes
Mar 02 2026

Yeah not my vibe icl. Just for something that’s fast tempo, short length in songs I don’t find it that catchy nor is there enough studio effects to really make it pop so to me it feels stripped back and doesn’t seem to have much going for it. Some guitar solos are pretty good and a couple decent songs. Also the strumming patterns and drum beats I find kinda annoying I know all this is a giant heaping hot take lol that’s just how I feel. Im not gonna vibe with everything that’s for sure and this one just doesn’t along with my soul or central nervous system or personality idk.

Beauty And The Beat by The Go-Go's
Mar 03 2026

Very fun and solid record front to back. I like the guitar work even working some surf rock in there, nice. Really adds to the fun vibes. Also the songs I found were catchy, I like the vocals. Idk what else to say I’m kinda glad I was recommended this, something different for me and I look forward to whatever else this website gives me. Oh and we got the beat is nostalgic for me as it was on rock band 2 which is a game I grew up with.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Mar 04 2026

🤘🔥🔥🤘I do feel alive with this one!!!! I feel the deeper cuts hold up against the hits and they know how to keep the record interesting. The subject matter is very dark and fitting for this album. I mean Jeremy…..what else can I say. I mean so spot on with what goes on in the minds of people who cause harm to others or themselves. This is definitely subject matter that shall be talked about and deserves a voice, very powerful stuff! The energy, the emotions, the guitars, Eddie Vedder pouring his heart out, it’s just such a great and passionate record that not only captivates me but also feel well I just feel so alive when I’m listening to it and easily in my top 25 albums of all time! And one of my favourite grunge records. And yes I had the pleasure of already listening to this but I had the pleasure of listening to it again❤️🔥also release, Garden and especially Black are all quality therapy by the way! Honestly the entire record is a therapy session to me and probably many others. Definitely a worthy canid for 1001 albums to listen to at some point in your life, I feel lots of people can feel heard on this record. But also the guitars and the hits alone are rockin🤘🔥😎😀

Doolittle by Pixies
Mar 05 2026

Yeah this is an excellent record I would say, aside from a couple skips which is why I would not give it the full five stars, but like I said, I love this record, I mean how could I not! I would give it 4.5 stars if I could though. Yeah from the catchy and sometimes soothing melodies to the screaming and aggression this record does nothing but keep me intrigued and fuelling me with dopamine. I mean slicing up eyeballs is a line I can’t get enough of! I love Black Francis as a front man on this and I like the bass playing a lot, partly why some songs are so catchy and groovy. Yes the raw energy and enjoyabilty can’t be denied. Kind of grungeish icl. But for indie rock that is. It’s also entertaining. Even some of the filler is catchy and enjoyable to me🤷‍♂️It seems like there’s a variety of stuff going on too, just to add to the maintaining my interest strength that this thing has.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Mar 06 2026

Yeah solid album, I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could. Take me out is the highlight even though that’s the only song I knew but for a reason because that song honestly is very good! Like I forgot how good it was. There’s some other ones that are good too on here that’s not the only good song. I really like the bass grooves and drums on this record. Very good melodies and stuff and sounds or atmosphere that is appealing to me. With alittle edge not just pop rock. Yeah that’s all I got.

The Band by The Band
Mar 07 2026

I mean it’s not bad by any means but, I’m just not that into it, I feel maybe it just “feels old” or music for old people, very soft, gentle, folky, piano ballads or whatever, it just doesn’t do much for me but I don’t dislike it. Im kind of indifferent to it to be honest. I feel it’s fine overall. It’s probably technically good but I’m not a good judge when it comes to stuff like this, I’m more into intense, emotional, complex or addictive and catchy music personally. There was some songs that kind of did it for me though. I’d give it 2.5 stars if I could but I’ll bump it up to 3 with the couple songs I kinda like and giving it atleast alittle more what it probably deserves or closer to it but not quite I suppose.

Moss Side Story by Barry Adamson
Mar 08 2026

So now we are away from the west side of town and onto the moss side? I guess Adam just felt like making a soundtrack but just didn’t have a movie to set it to other than maybe in his head I suppose. Very interesting though but for my own enjoyment it was just slightly enjoyable for me personally but I suppose I could see a time and place where this could feel amazing as an epic soundtrack to like or something idk. Interesting pick though 1001 albums lol.

Lost Souls by Doves
Mar 09 2026

Very good, very therapeutic.

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Mar 10 2026

Honestly very good, it reminds me of when I was in band class before our Christmas concert and we played sleigh ride, the orchestration sounds similar to that so that’s nostalgic for me. Also yeah it’s just great orchestral pop with great vocals and vocal harmonies. It almost makes me feel smarter listening to it, you know like classical music backs up these catchy pop tunes. No real skips either. I would give it five stars but for whatever reason this album will probably be in the back burner for when I get tired of all these rock, prog, psych, stoner, modern pop and also hip hop albums and stuff. So for me it’s not like my go to album of all time but sometimes I shall be reaching for this.
